The installation instructions were simple enough that I didn't have to ask my handy man husband to install them. They feel very sturdy and they are made from high quality materials. The blackout is a true blackout on the front, the only issue is the sunshine shines through a small gap on the edges because it doesn't lay flush. It sticks out just a tad. The white is clean and matches the rest of my white accents in the living room. Definitely a great value for your money. You no longer have to have holes in the wall for curtain rods or cats scratching the curtains etc. These roller shades have transformed my living room to appear less cluttered and much more modern.

This is a well made shade, does a great job of blocking out sunlight, retracts as it you would expect. The material is thick enough to not let sunlight in, it looks like a big box store shade, something you would spend twice as much money on. The install was wood screws and with a cordless drill, it only takes a minute. The price on this is half what you would pay normally at a store, so a great value. There has been no issues with the sun hitting it, so heat deformation, and it provides a contemporary look in the room. it just stand out, which is what i would want from a shade.

I installed these cordless blackout roller shades in one of our rooms, and they work really well. The blackout material blocks light nicely and helps keep the room cooler, which is great for sleeping or working. I like the cordless design since it feels safer and gives a clean, uncluttered look. These blinds come nicely packaged and are of excellent quality. I installed mine inside of the window frame. The width left about 1/2" of clearance on both sides, which I think is a good fit when allowing room for raising and lowering. Installation was pretty straight forward as the included instructions had well drawn illustrations. However, I could not figure out the "right angle" illustration in steps 2 and 3, so I just went by the other drawings. Perhaps a line was left out - or it's just me. All in all, it is pretty easy to install. The only other issue I had was that the lift action when raising the blind seemed to be a bit weak. The blind would buckle a bit when raising it. I looked over the instructions, but did not find any mention of adjusting the tension. It's not a major issue as long as it doesn't get any weaker. Overall, I am pleased with the quality and function.
