I have minor knee issues and I mainly use this for recovery as I have a hard time exercising with knee sleeves or braces. The sleeves are supposed to have copper in them which is supposed to have healing properties - I can't vouch for if that's true or if it works, but the compression feels great. Still can't figure out how the straps work so I just removed them. Comfortable with no itchy seams. To wash, I just throw in a garment bag and line dry.

These copper bands are tight! Definitely providing firm support and I had zero IT Band pain while doing lunges, squats, and hip thrusts. Stability was there throughout. Pros: Firm support. The band itself is tight. Did help prevent IT Band irritation in myself. Zero slipping/ falling/ folding while working out. Cons: Almost too tight. I was starting to feel pain from the loss of circulation and had deep indentions in my legs on both ends where they were held in place. It was slightly hard and frustrating to keep my legs at a 90 degree angle during hip thrusts. The Velcro bands were frustrating to get right and I honestly am not sure they did much in terms of added support. Fabric was hot and uncomfortable/ itchy. I practically peeled them off the second I could when the workout was over. Overall I am not sure if these are the right fit for me. I usually use a more traditional support for the band that involves way less fabric. If you need firm support then these are 100% for you.

My husband walks on concrete floors at work, like a lot of people who work on their feet. Recently he's been having knee pain in one knee, so this brace looked like it might help. It does decrease the pain somewhat, but isn't a complete solution. I took off a star for that. The positives are that it's a compression sleeve, so not complicated to put on and take off. It's flexible so doesn't constrict the knee when walking or using steps. The strap is elastic with Velcro ends so can be positioned where support is most needed, and if that doesn't work well, can be re-positioned. My husband said after awhile he didn't notice he was wearing it. Even if it reduced his pain level a small amount, he said any pain relief was welcome and he'll continue to wear the brace.
