chair looked great and worked great for the first five months then the leather started peeling off the one arm, contacted the co. and was told too bad . Contacted Amazon and they said because of what the seller told my there was nothing they could do. The chair still works but looks like a piece of crap and at 76 years old I'm now stuck with it! a total waste of 600.00 ... show more

I researched many lift chairs before selecting this one and overall it was a good choice. The chair arrives in two large boxes. The first box arrived on the scheduled date, but the box was badly damaged and partially open -- I'm surprised Fed Ex even delivered it. That first box is about 40 pounds so between the weight and large, damaged box, it was difficult to get into the house. I was very worried that the motors had been damaged and there was no way of checking until the second box arrived. Surprisingly, the second box arrived the very next day and was in great condition. I assembled the chair myself and it took only about 15 minutes. It will be very helpful to have two people for the asssembly as it's difficult for one person to hold the chair part and slide the metal pieces together -- difficult but not impossible! Connecting the electrical cords is very easy as they are all color coded. However, check to see if any of the ends are oval shaped rather than round as it may have gotten crimped during shipment as mine did. It's an easy fix -- gently squeeze the oval back into a round shape or the two ends will never connect. The chair is fairly comfortable but it is definitely not for a tall person, that is anyone over 5'9". My husband is 6' and just barely fits in the chair. The headrest could not accommodate anyone over 6'. So far everything works fine, lift is quiet, heat & massage are nice features and it reclines about 160 degrees. ... show more

Shame I can't give negative stars for my rating. Don't waste your money! I got this chair in November for my elderly mother. Received it and put it together, that part was easy. It does not recline 160 degrees, I don't think it's even close. I still feel like I'm sitting up. It is not overstuffed. The seat is very uncomfortable and very shallow for a chair that's supposed to have a deep seat. There's no overstuffing at all in the seat. I fell asleep in it and wound up with a bruise on my hip! I tried to return it. I contacted the company. I explained all of the things that were bad with the chair and why I was trying to return it. They counter offered to credit me $200 to keep it. It would cost more than that to return it! I got a quote from the UPS store, to package it and ship it, it was around $300! The last contact I had with them stated that partial refund has processed and that there should be a credit on my credit card statement. Well....there hasn't been any kind of credit on my statement! I've been going round and round with them for approximately a month or so. They must do this on purpose so you give up. I would never buy anything from this company again. ... show more

Easy to assemble, comfortable, works great except lift operations buttons are down on the right side and not on a separate remote which is described in the text and shown in the the images used to promote it. I specifically got this chair for the independent controls because I cannot use my right arm. Now the chair is useless to me because I can’t recline it or use the lift function unless someone operates it for me. . I see now that there are many less expensive models offered by other companies that should have bought. I was not able to assemble it myself but the family members that did it for me said that it was very easy. ... show more

Got this in the color brown and it looks just like what is pictured, if anything just a tad darker. Everything works well and the massage feature is very nice. It heats up quite well on the heat function too. We really like the holder on the side of the chair that holds the remote as well as having a pocket on each side of the chair to put magazines in, etc. It's nice to have a port to plug your phone charger into and then you can put your phone in one of those pockets as it charges. We had to contact the seller for some questions and they answered right away. Overall a good purchase! ... show more
