I've had this monitor light bar for about 2 months now and use it for reading, gaming, and just general mood lighting, and it's held up well. The brightness is great and easy to adjust with the touch controls, and I really like that it's mounted so it rotates since it's basically held by the top of the monitor. Being USB powered is a nice bonus too, makes it easy to hook up to whatever you've got nearby. I also mounted it to a curved monitor and it mounted just fine. Only real downside is it feels a little flimsy, but honestly for the price that's justifiable. One thing to watch for: if you don't have it connected to a solid power source it can flicker a bit. As for the color temperature options, there's bright white, a warmer white, and a third one that's supposed to be more blueish, but honestly it looks pretty much the same as the white to me. I mostly just leave it on the warm setting anyway. Good pick if you want a decent night light for studying, working, or just some mood lighting in the room.

I got this mostly because I’m in college and I’m constantly doing homework at my desk at ridiculous hours, and I was getting tired of either having my whole room lit up or sitting there with just my monitor glowing in my face lol. For the price, this little light bar has honestly been way more useful than I expected. It clips onto the top of my monitor pretty securely and doesn’t take up any desk space, which I really appreciate because my desk is already fighting for its life between school stuff, random chargers, and everything else. 😂 The light spreads across my keyboard and the area directly in front of the monitor really nicely without shining straight into my eyes. I also like being able to adjust the brightness depending on what I’m doing. I keep it lower when I’m just watching something and brighter when I’m actually reading or writing. One surprisingly nice thing is that I can leave the main room light off at night. My boyfriend can watch TV or sleep without me lighting up the entire room, and I can still see everything on my desk. My pets also love wandering across my desk at the worst possible time, and so far they haven’t managed to knock this thing loose, which is probably a better durability test than anything I could intentionally come up with. It’s not some super fancy premium light and the construction is pretty simple, so I wouldn’t expect it to feel like a $100 monitor accessory. But once it’s actually on the monitor, I don’t really notice or care. USB power is convenient, the controls are straightforward, and the light is much more comfortable than using a bright desk lamp next to my screen. If you study, game, draw, or just spend a lot of time at your computer at night, I think it’s genuinely worth getting. Nothing life-changing, just one of those inexpensive desk upgrades that I ended up using basically every day.

I will be completely honest. It feels cheap. It’s lightweight plastic with very archaic features. You have to turn it on with your finger and it can be clumsy to turn it on at times. It’s not the prettiest thing to look at. No frills at all, but once it’s mounted, it stays put. But with all that said, it works and it works well. It’s plenty bright enough without blowing out your vision. You can adjust the direction of the light, though it MAY spill light onto the screen. The color temperatures are good. You really cannot beat it at the price point.

My beauty mirrors internal lights stopped working and figured this little light would make a great replacement. The adjustable base and sticky backing worked excellently. The swivel head and adjustable brightness as well as light color options is also a plus. Perfect little beauty light. Im also glad I dont have to remember to recharge it as I can plug it into my wall and forget about it.

While the lamp serves its purpose, there are a few problems that buyers should be aware. First is the monitor mount that only stays in place if the 3M double sided tape is removed and the lamp is fastened to the monitor. The lamp stays in place, but the light from the lamp slightly shines into the eyes, in addition to the keyboard. This would not be a problem if the illumination brightness could be adjusted down. There are 3 light color settings, but all of them are bright. This is a pitty as with this one improvement, the light that shines into the eyes would be less bothersome. Maybe this is not a problem with smaller monitors. My monitors are 32 inch wide.

I needed more keyboard lighting, and this is great, once I found something to attach it to. The back clamp rotates all the way to flat (90 deg more than shown), and the lamp itself rotates about 30 deg as shown. The USB cable is captive at the lamp, with a type A at the other. The control is better than described; you just have to lightly touch it to activate. Use a short touch to cycle through the lamp colors to off, and a long touch to activate the dimming feature. Note that the lamp will remember the selected brightness level once the lamp is cycled through the colors to off. Bravo, I can see my keyboard clearly, as the brightness is great.

Great idea, poorly manufactured. It does not fasten securely to your monitor. Also adjusting the angle of the light (rotating the light as advertised) is a challenge. Sorry, I was really counting on using something like this.
