I just purchased the new MacBook Neo from Apple. The MacBook Neo doesn’t have a lighted keyboard and I basically couldn’t see the keys to type anything in dim or no light situations. I bought 7 other light bars from other companies here on Amazon that didn’t work. Either they were the wrong length, too heavy, or pinched the screen that could leave permanent mark on the softer part.The main downside of the other light bars was the higher prices. Then I came across this simple light bar by “Sampson Monitor Light Bar”. It was the perfect length, had just the right amount of light with the onboard adjustments. It was a match made in heaven in my eyes. I could write a lot more about this light bar but, trust me you need to buy one to enjoy It!!!

I needed more keyboard lighting, and this is great, once I found something to attach it to. The back clamp rotates all the way to flat (90 deg more than shown), and the lamp itself rotates about 30 deg as shown. The USB cable is captive at the lamp, with a type A at the other. The control is better than described; you just have to lightly touch it to activate. Use a short touch to cycle through the lamp colors to off, and a long touch to activate the dimming feature. Note that the lamp will remember the selected brightness level once the lamp is cycled through the colors to off. Bravo, I can see my keyboard clearly, as the brightness is great.

Not bad at all. I really like the three color temperature options: a bright, almost fluorescent white, a warmer tungsten glow, and a balanced middle setting that blends the two nicely. The button is easy to press, and the light does a solid job covering most of my workspace with even, adequate illumination. My only real complaint is the mount. It’s not as sturdy as I’d prefer and feels a bit wobbly on my monitor. There is an included adhesive pad to secure it, but I’ve chosen not to use it since it feels a little too permanent. I run a dual-monitor setup and like being able to switch the light between screens from time to time. So I guess that's more on me.

I bought us a few months ago and I finally tried to put it together actually turn it on today and it will not work it just blinks it does not have a steady light The button on the right top does not work at all you can't do anything with it I just threw it in the garbage what a waste of money Do not buy this product it is horrible and unfortunately it is past the return window for me I should have tried it right away but that's on me for having faith in people selling good products but this is not a good product
