  • Awesome PC
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Super
This is a great gamer pc for the price. Specs are 100%. Only glitch was that it tended to run a little hot. I put 2 Noctua 120mm thin fans in the bottom tray to draw in air and put the 2-140mm fans on top of the radiator to pull exhaust air up through the Cooler Master 280mm AIO radiator and I use the perforated metal side cover instead of the glass, now running no hotter than 60C or below full gaming mode. Also blew it apart and redid the wiring to clean things up and increase air flow-through. I enjoy my racing sims (iRacing, Assetto Corsa) on this very capable, rock-steady pc. My son uses it for his games on Steam, no issues. Minimal RGB, only the memory sticks and you can turn those off! The only thing I added were two 4tb SSD drives that fit perfectly on front frame underneath the front cover. There really is not much to mod on this, other than increasing memory (has two 5600mhz 16GB DDR5 sticks), M2 SSD capacity (comes with 1TB and OS win11 on it), adding 2.5" SSD's, or if you are into it, lights. Also got a Display port to HDMI cord. PC is sturdy, capable, fast, plenty of bandwidth, stunning visuals. I did the BIOS upgrade, pretty straight-forward, went from v8 to v10 so CM or Gigabyte did most of the legwork beforehand. Also, very little to no bloatware! Long story short, I chose the middle variation Amazon offers (Graphics card goes up a notch) and am extremely happy with its performance. ... show more

  • Fast and Silent at a Great Price
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4060 Ti
After eyeing components for a new desktop build for several months, the price on the NR2/14700F/4060ti was too good for me to pass up. I had seen this case recently and was really smitten with it. I liked the idea of a low key small form factor and have had great luck with Cooler Master going back over a decade. After doing some research I felt fairly confident this was going to have solid components and sure enough it’s a Gigabyte Aurous Pro mobo and the graphics card is a Gigabyte Eagle 4060ti. The SSD/RAM are Kingston and they perform flawlessly. I don’t game. This is a workstation and honestly it is way more power than I will ever need, but life is too short to work with lagging hardware. I’ve benched it with UserMark and it comes back 90%+ with its default settings compared to systems with the same basic specs. Realistically I couldn’t build it any cheaper with similar components. There’s not really anything I would change about it except it would be nice if it shipped with Windows 11 Pro rather than Home, but it’s a $12 upgrade that doesn’t take any longer than the first Windows Update to get there. After a week it has run flawlessly, silently, and cool. I recommend it without hesitation. ... show more

  • Perfect Solution for Designers
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4060 Ti
I was in need of something that could easily handle the Adobe suite and provided a way to upgrade the RAM if I needed to (32GB has been just fine so far). I also wanted something aesthetically pleasing that I didn't want to hide away under my desk. I had been considering a used Mac Studio, but eventually ran across this after a lot of scouring. It's been a great purchase and one I've already recommended to a few colleagues. I did end up immediately adding an additional 4TB storage drive to the M2 slot on the back of the motherboard. That process was a bit of a pain as you pretty much have to take most of the machine apart, but I knew that was going to be necessary when I bought it. A couple things to note, I did have to do some troubleshooting when I first got it as it failed to boot up initially and eventually discovered the video card had gotten knocked a little loose in shipping. Second, I wasn't needing Wi-Fi so didn't hook up the antennae but found out that it's required for the bluetooth to work. Otherwise great machine and loved that it came without a bunch of bloat. ... show more

  • Amazing System
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4060 Ti
This thing is a beast for its size. I don't use it as a gaming PC, but a beefy server using the NVIDIA graphics card for it's CUDA ability to do some AI work. Had it over a month now with zero issues running 24/7.

  • Pc arrived in one shape
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Super
I recently got a PC with the Intel i7 14000F and NVIDIA 4070 Super, and it’s perfect for my new 1440p 180Hz monitor. The performance is amazing, handling games at high settings with smooth frame rates. I appreciate that Coolermaster included the mesh side panel by default with the option to switch from the mesh side panel to a tempered glass one. It adds a nice aesthetic while keeping airflow efficient. FIY: if you don't get a display signal you might need to pull out the GPU and reseat the GPU riser onto the motherboard as mine had this issue. ... show more

  • Made the full move over from console > PC, and haven't regretted it!
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Super
I've been gaming on PC on and off for more than three decades now, however I never really made the push into a full blown gaming set up, often settling for something that would play all the indie titles on Steam, and a few of the flashier games on lower specs. Post-second round of this half-step console business, and a bit of research, landed on this rig and can't say I'm disappointed. It runs great, runs quiet, and more importantly I'm playing the latest and greatest without any hiccups. Of course, the really rad mini ITX also helped to push me over the edge - love a space saver. ... show more

  • Great PC w/ inconvenient flaw
Style: NR2 Pro i7 14700F | RTX 4070 Super
*UPDATE AFTER 1 DAY* This unit came with an Intel I225-V network card. It’s a huge pain as it’s a known failure/frustration to get working (close to impossible if it’s a bad unit). The Ethernet will flip from 2.5, to 1, down to 100 mbps and stay there. It also disconnects while gaming frequently. Poor part choice to have a motherboard (Gigabyte b760i pro ddr5) with such a known fault. Overall, I had a good experience with the setup and use of this pc. Normally I build my own systems, but this was a good alternative for a prebuilt transportable pc. Out of the box everything was as it should be, XMP and fan curve was done beforehand and the machine stays quiet. Heat is somewhat of an issue, but if you're used to sff builds, this is nothing out of the normal. ... show more
