  • You get what you pay for. Cheap bike - low quality.
I bought 2 of these for me and my wife. BOTH bikes had several issues that had to be worked out. The main problem was the rear derailer mounting bracket was bent at an angle that prevented the it from working and it was stuck inside the spokes of the wheel. Luckily the spokes were not damaged. Both bikes had the same issue, the exact same bend in the wrong direction, leading me to think they were made this way and not the result of an accident. After bending the tab to get the derailer to right in line with the gear set this was resolved on both bikes. Both bikes had to have the front and the rear derailer completely adjusted – they did not function properly out of the box. Also, BOTH bikes had one tire that would not hold air, the tubes were cut when they were installed. I had to order new tubes for both bikes. While fixing this, I realized the OEM inner tubes were super cheap and very thin. These would not have lasted long. I replaced them with higher quality Schwalbe tubes. While replacing the tubes I had to install new wheel tape inside. This tape or whatever you want to call it, protected the tube from the wheel. Out of the box, this tape was twisted and folded inside the wheel and is probably what caused the damaged tubes. The tires on these bikes are very soft and after riding only 5 miles on pavement at proper psi, they are showing excessive wear. These will not last long. Be prepared to replace soon after purchase. You CANNOT use all 7 rear gears unless you have your front gearing in 2nd. If you are in your 1st or 3rd gear on the front you can only use 1st -4th or 4th -7th on the rear gearing. Or you have too much chain angle or deflection. The rubber grips tried to slide off after 30 minutes. These are ultra cheap and will have to be replaced soon. The OEM seats had to be replaced immediately. They were very firm and stiff. So after buying both these bikes- I had to buy new all new tubes, new wheel tape, new seats about 3 hours of labor just to give them a first ride. I will have to buy new grips and tires very soon. If I could go back… I would have spent more money and bought something higher quality. YMMV. ... show more
