UPDATE- 1/20/20 One of the tablets from Christmas just "broke". One day it wouldn't turn on. It was just a black screen. I wrote to this company and explained the situation. Even though it was past my 30 day return mark, ( it sat in my closet the whole month of December as i bought it early for Christmas) they do tips me to return it and they would repair it if they could. About a week later i got a message from amazon that they refunded me for the tablet. No communication from the company. I guess that's not a huge deal but an email explaining it would have been ideal. I just received my new tablet and so far so good. It's not the same as the first 2 we ordered even though under amazon it says i ordered the same device twice. This one has a different screen saver and i had to download the 20 games myself instead of having them already installed. Not a huge deal though. Overall, I would probably order again. These are great tablets. I bought 2 for Christmas. Kids ages are 6&7. The games that were already installed are great for their ages. Some are a little too young, and a couple are a little challenging. But overall, it was nice having the games already installed so we could decide what types they liked/disliked. Some reviews said the tablet bogged down because of all the games installed. Ours never has. Also downloaded a movie for a long road trip and still no problems. The tablet comes with 2 types of chargers. One is a 9mm and the other is a regular cell phone charger. Both of the 9mm chargers broke within the first week. That's my only complaint though. It was a bit tedious to set up at first and the battery ran out super quick, but after the first charge it works just as expected. The battery life is great now, it's lightweight, easy to use, looks nice, we love the protective cover, and it has all the games you could imagine for education. Do not buy this tablet! I originally had Amazon fire tablets for my kids but we didn't like that we couldn't download the games we had subscriptions for onto it nor youtube kids. I found these ones that had all the apps allowed we wanted but there is a huge draw back. One its extremely slow...opening the same app on my phone takes 1 to 2 minutes at most. Tablet can take 10min+ and even after the app opens it might not even still let you play anything! Not only that all the apps it says should be on the tablet to use to make a profile for your kids on the tablet are non existent. So i had to remove my pin so let them play. But the fact I have to spend 30min to an hr to get a game they want to play to run correctly is outrageous. 100% horrible tablet. Not sure if the version 10 is better but I really don't know if id risk it. ... show more

Bought two of these for my twin grandchildren. The battery life is long enough for the time they are allowed to use them, but the games that come with the product are for very young children. My grandchildren had never had any kind of iPad, etc. so they are happy with it, even though they are five years old. I see kids two years old carrying around this kind of product and for children like that, these would probably not be adequate. My other concern is there are no instructions for the games. You just have to learn how to do them by trial and error. Doesn’t seem to bother my grandkids, but drives me crazy. Also, I wanted stories that were read aloud to help them start to recognize words. The problem with the stories on this device is that the reading is very stilted, the stories are way too young, and when the story is read, the entire sentence or paragraph is highlighted, not highlighted word by word - for someone who doesn’t read yet that is a little confusing. One other note, the piece on the charger that you insert in the device to charge has a very weak end. My granddaughter’s is already bent, but it is still charging. Just be careful with the end of the charger. They do connect to the Internet however, and I plan on downloading them more advanced games and stories as they get older. All in all, for the price, I am OK with these devices. Haven’t had them long enough to know if they will hold up over time, but as long as they do, and I can connect to the Internet to get them more advanced games and stories, they are worth the money I paid. ... show more

I’ve been wanting a basic tablet for my 3 year old son so when I saw this one was geared towards kids I decided to get it. The tablet itself is the perfect size to fit in his hands and the case does a great job at protecting the tablet when it gets dropped. (Because we all know 3 year olds drop things) The tablet comes preinstalled with 20 different games that work for many different age groups. The Looney Tunes Phonics game is one of them and it’s excellent at teaching letters and the sounds they make. My son is around the age of learning letters and sounds so we’ve used this a few times and will continue to. A few apps he personally likes to play are ABC world, Game kids 5 and body parts for kids. (All are preinstalled on the tablet). Another great thing about this tablet is the parental controls. I honestly had to unblock a few things when I first got the tablet because so many things were blocked. The “kids corner” app is where all of the apps you want your child to use can be put into. This app is password protected so you can’t get out of it unless you use a password, so no worrying about your child getting into other things on the tablet that you don’t want them to use. You can also set a timer for how long you want your child to be on the tablet. The operating system is ok, it runs on Android 8, it’s not the fastest thing in the world so it takes patience for some of the things to load and the touch screen can be finicky at times but he’s able to play games ok. I’m not sure if I got a bad one or not but the charging cord and port are loose so I’m not sure how long the charger is going to last. The tablet can also get a little warm at times but all and all it’s a nice basic tablet. Updated 11/1/19: I have revised my review from 4 stars to 5 stars because of the excellent customer service I received about the loose charger (which actually did end up breaking after my initial review) . I emailed Contixo and told them what happened with my charger and they sent out a new one to me free of charge! ... show more

I like the price it’s affordable for people who don’t want to spend a arm and leg on a high end tablet or iPad. My kids are 3 and 4 it works perfectly for them and have been learning a lot more since I got them a week ago. I will update later when I have these a bit longer. The chargers are very cheap so be carful with them. The first day one of the chargers end got bent and stopped charging completely. I wish I could get a better charger since it just lasted less a day for it to break. Other then that it’s great a little slow but fast enough for the kids. Again I understand it’s not a high end tablet so I don’t expect it to be supper quick. It would be nice if it came with a back stand in the back so when the kids are sitting on a table they don’t have to hold it. I feel it makes it hard to even play in the apps with having to hold it the whole time. Usually we lean it against something but it be nice if it had a stand. For me the tablet is kinda slow but obviously I'm used to fast immediate technology. For my 6 year old she's thrilled with it. It functions well, the case makes it very durable and most likely not easily breakable or scratchable. So that's good since kids seem to scratch and break things easily. It was easy to connect to Wi-Fi and have not had any connectivity issues. It's great to take on car rides and doctor appointments when you tend to wait forever and kids get impatient. ... show more
