Sometimes he steps on it when he walks away after dropping it. This tablet is perfect for him. It's extremely durable. He got a smaller version of the same tablet for Christmas last year (2023). He was just over two. He could easily go back and forth between games. He was getting all of his colors and shapes right. He was counting in order and doing basic math. He's nonverbal so it's not easy communicating with him sometimes. If it weren't for this tablet my daughter and son-in-law might not know exactly how advanced he is in those areas. I purchased this tablet over 2 years ago and it’s still like new. With that in mind I do not let my granddaughter use it every day. I don’t believe in electronics or tv to entertain them, that’s what their creativity is for. We use this on trips to town 45 min drive to and 45 minutes back. We take it on vacation for the car ride only. We have taken it to my doctor appointments to keep her busy while I’m talking to the doctor and to appointments like with the mechanics. UPDATE 8 MONTHS AFTER PURCHASE: This tablet is ABSOLUTE GARBAGE!!! You want to know what is even MORE garbage?! Contixo's NON EXISTANT "Customer Service" & Contixo's "Warranty". 8 months later and the tablet will not charge or turn on at all (I use the plug I charge my phone on every night so I know that the issue is the tablet and not the plug). It is obvious that Contixo knows that this is an ongoing issue with their tablets because as soon as you start navigating steps to contact their "Customer Service" they have a FAQ Troubleshooting video & instruction for this very same issue, yet it STILL doesn't fix the issue. Plain and simple, the tablet is GARBAGE! I've tried calling the "Customer Service" phone number several times to either get a busy signal or it sounds like I'm calling a cell phone with a musical ringback tone to a full voicemail system. I've also emailed them over a month ago to their "Customer Service" email they provide on their website and I got absolutely no response. So I followed up over 2 weeks ago with their website based submission form and also received zero response. ABSOLUTE TRASH! Obviously the "Warranty" means absolutely nothing because you can not even get it contact with this company. I will be reporting this company to Amazon & the BBB for false advertizing and fraud. Original review: The tablet is great for a kids tablet functionally however the biggest warning I can give on this tablet is that the sound is absolutely WAY TOO LOUD! My daughter watches YouTube a lot and while there are many different volume levels you can select on the tablet, the very lowest volume level next to a full "Mute" is a literal screaming decibel. The only way my daughter can watch this tablet is with her headphones that have a child safety limit on the volume. It is a pain in the butt to have to bluetooth connect her headphones to make her tablet even a usable option for her especially when I'm out and about by myself and trying to do a million things at one time. The speakers are accessible via the back of the tablet and I am considering affixing maybe some cotton rounds or something to it to dampen the sound (this is inconvenient though and will make the tablet look ghetto). ... show more

Bought this for my son for educational purposes. It comes with so many useful educational tools, and it also has the google play store like an average android tablet where you can download anything you want. The parental controls are awesome, we use google family link which allows me to control what he can and can’t see and/or download. The only reason I gave this 4 stars instead of 5 is the pen it comes with. Setting up the tablet I could not get it to work, then within an hour of using it my son had scratched up the entire screen because he had to push so hard. Wish the company either included a screen protector or didn’t include the pen. Thought it would be safe since it’s made by the same company and comes with the tablet.. ... show more

My daughter enjoys the preloaded puzzles, and occasionally watching her YouTube shows. My biggest complaint is how slowly the tablet loads and processes actions. It’s pretty painful. So much that I wouldn’t recommend this product.
