Finally! I love coffee, but it has to be freshly brewed and hot coffee for me to enjoy it. I can't even imagine how many times I wished for such a device when we're camping of even traveling in a hotel somewhere. This espresso machine is absolutely wonderful and I'm so glad I found it! It works flawlessly and brews a lovely cup of espresso. I would be even more ecstatic if the temperature was hotter, but it is definitely good enough when you have no other options. This thing is super portable and super easy to use. It charges quickly and serves quite a few cups on one charge. The coffee comes out without any issues and tastes wonderful. This is definitely one of my most favorite purchases within the last year!

I was looking for a portable Nespresso machine and I found it! It can heat up to 6 cups of 40mL on each charge (using cool water) or more (if you use heated water) and the espresso is done perfectly! It's small and light enough to carry on (I travel a lot by car and plane).

I had originally purchased one of the generic versions of this maker last year which worked out great until the portafilter exploded under pressure being all plastic. I do not use any pods so I purchased the additional coffee powder chamber with this unit. I wasn't big on the idea of having to purchase that as an added accessory since I would never use the pod chamber it came with. It states in the description notes that there is some type of discount if you purchase the unit and the powder chamber together but that was not applied and I couldn't find any hidden button to make it happen. Overall, used this unit a few times and it has operated as expected and looks to be sturdier than the previous unit I had from another brand. Biggest difference to me so far is the metal lined portafilter chamber due to my past experience. All other versions I have seen so far have a all plastic coffee basket. Not much information was given regarding the coffee powder chamber and the correct way to use it. No instructions. The basket is an off size which a normal tamper does not fit. I did some digging on Conqueco site and it seems the coffee powder chamber is actually a "distributor-tamper combo" (just FYI). Other minor annoyance, especially when trying to make multiple cups back to back, like my previous unit, is cleaning up the coffee chamber. I haven't been able to get the coffee puck to drop out of the basket cleanly after brewing which ends up requiring extra water and time when trying to make another cup. This becomes more annoying when you are out with limited water available. We still prefer our home machine hands down, but this portable maker has become our preference on the road in combination with our portable milk warmer / frother. We do a lot of overlanding (camping where there are no services at all) and was the primary purpose for this but I've become acustom bringing our setup anywhere we plan to stay overnight. Coffee houses are avoided now unless they offer something really special.

I started traveling again and remembered how terrible the coffee can be. I bought this to use on the go in hostels, hotels and camping. It makes a great cup of espresso, probably better than what I have purchased in overpriced touristy espresso shops. Heating the water uses half the battery so make sure you plan to plug it in. It looks like using your own hot water greatly increases the battery life. Either way I am really happy. Works with generic Kroger Private Selection capsules.

The media could not be loaded. It takes about 1-3 minutes to heat up. It heats up okay I do have to microwave it. It’s not hot enough for me but the espresso comes out creamy. The unit also had an option for you to press for cold which makes it release the coffee immediately. I use that when I add hot water to the unit. As you see it is very easy to use and clean. The pods for this unit are easy to find. I would recommend it, fun and ready for a trip.
