Update: I have now purchased a second one of these chairs and I still love them more than any chairs I have ever gotten. The first one has held up really well. Since I got it in off white, I keep it covered when I’m not using it so the cats won’t get it dirty. It’s still solid and the stuffing is staying fluffy and not shifting out of place. These are crazy soft and with a degenerative disc in my lower back it is the only chair I can sit in and feel no discomfort at all. Get the ones with the foot stools. They don’t take up much space and are the perfect height for getting the sort of cupped angle while sitting in the chair. I can sit in these chairs for a few hours at a time at least with no discomfort. I got a blue one this time and the color is really beautiful. It’s so tempting to donate all of my other furniture and just fill my house with these.😂 Original review: There aren’t words to express how much I love this chair! I have a lot of pain in my neck and shoulders when I sit, but not in this chair. I can’t believe of all the $$ I’ve spent on furniture over the years, that this chair is so much more comfortable than anything I’ve ever had. And it’s so soft and fluffy! It’s pretty too. It was fairly easy to put together. There were no written instructions. Just pictures, so my engineer husband and I scratched our heads at one point, but we got it figured out. It’s very sturdy. I was a little concerned that it might not stand up to 180lbs even though it says it can support much more. I feel no give or movement at all when I sit in it. The foot stool is just the right height. The chair is very light weight so it’s easy to move around and doesn’t take up much space at all. I am amazed at how many people describe these "lazy chairs" as chic or stylish. This chair is a real eyesore, in my opinion. I bought it for someone else who in the end couldn't use it, so I decided to keep it for myself rather than return it. Not the worst choice. It's remarkably good at what it's designed to do. It's quite comfortable with the ottoman (though I wish it offered better lumbar support; I'll need to add a pillow). And very stable. When I first sat down in it I was bending and twisting and leaning all over, trying to decide on a book from the nearby bookcases, and the thing did not once wobble. There's a band along the front edge that helps the cushion hold its shape that pressed against my legs the first time I used the chair. I solved the issue by folding up a fleece blanket and laying it over the offending zone. Assembly is pretty easy. The protective caps on two of the legs were stuck fast but warming them up with a blow dryer softened them for removal. ... show more
