This thing puts out some serious heat. Do yourself a favor, don’t bother with those burners which put out 10k BTU. This thing is build well and should last many years, and puts out a lot of heat. It’s worth the price.

This is a fairly high powered burner much stronger than our stovetop. It is part of our outdoor kitchen which is wear we cook in the warmer months. I do a lot of canning and this burner is the way to go on hot summer days. Heavy metal frame, no lightweight.

Replaced my old burner with this one. This is amazing. My old one would blow out by the wind way to easy. This one burns strong!! Built strong. Would by again but I doubt I will need to!

This is a great burner. Nice flame, sturdy construction, great price. The only thing I’m not crazy about is attaching the hose to the burner. It seems they threaded the cast iron of the burner to accept the brass hose fitting. I am afraid to store it with the hose attached because not only does it make it cumbersome, but I am afraid that the brass could break off it the cast iron. I would be nice if they had put a fitting on the hose that would make attaching by hand instead of having to get a pair of pliers or a wrench to snug up he brass fitting. I would caution anyone from over tightening the fitting because you could strip the threads. All in all a nice burner to use your cast iron skillet or other cooking utensil outdoors.

When I have this running on medium heat/flame I get 3-4 gallons of hot water in no time. If I turn up the flame I can get hot shower water in just a few minutes. I was hoping I could turn down the flame and just have hot water in like 15 minutes or so, but several times when I turned the flame down I would come back to it and the flame would be out. I will keep playing with the low flame setting but it has gone out several times. I guess I will just have to run it on medium flame most of the time. Other than the flame going out it is a great propane burner that can heat up pretty much anything you need.

Bought For multi - purpose use . Melting bulk lead to cast into ingots is my primary use and it does an exceptional job for that . I really gets hot . For this to get 100,000 BTU it does use a bit more propane , but that is understandable . I am quite pleased with this purchase .
