First thing I did since it is cordless I charged the unit and it charged quickly. I didn't see a level indicator except a light not a big deal. Instructions note that full charge won't be reached till after 3 discharge and charge cycles.a A full charge will last 60 min per instructions. The 10 attachments included are labeled for number and length of cut. During use the clipper combs went smoothly through the hair and the clippers cut well. The clippers were quiet during use and no vibration felt in my hand. I would say this is a compact design of the handle and the clipper itself appears normal size. It's light weight and comfortable to use. The clipper portion is a little big for facial hair I think but it did work on my beard.
