I absolutely love this styling tool. I'm 64, and my hair is getting thinner on top every year, it seems. If I don't use this to dry my hair, it just lays flat, no matter how much hairspray or other hair products I use. I use mousse on my hair while it's wet and then dry/style with this dryer. It works so good, and I get good results every time. I chose this particular one because it was the right size barrel for my hair. With it being so thin, the others with the bigger barrels don't work for me because my hair is too short to curl around them. This one is perfect for my needs. I also love that it has the tip on the end that allows me to hold on to it with my other hand. My previous dryer (different brand) didn't have that feature so it was a bit difficult to use. I highly recommend this dryer, it is totally perfect, in my opinion! I should also mention that it has good power and heat, and quickly dries my hair!

I got this because the more “viral” revlon one has a huge barrel that I knew I wouldn’t like. I am honestly pretty happy with this! Just a few things to keep in mind: -It’s extremely light weight which can seem good but it makes it feel *very cheaply made. -It does dry my hair well, I’m still learning the best way to use it but I definitely have to go back to fully dry my roots. Albeit it only takes a minute or two longer. -I have type 2b/2c hair, pretty thin but a lot of hair and not long. My hair seems to be a little too thin at the ends for the brush to actually grab it, but I make it work. This gives me such a pretty blowout look! And gives my bangs a LOT of volume. -Only two heat settings, 125° and 250° F as well as Low and High for speed. If the brush is on 125° it can go to High, but if it’s on 250° it locks you at Low speed. But it still took me only about 10 minutes to dry and style my hair. -The cord is very short. Best for doing your hair at your bathroom sink right next to a plug, it won’t reach from my floor plug up to my head when I’m sitting at my vanity.

I have been using this Hot Air Curling Brush for years - The drying power is great - even though this brush dryer lasts a long time I still keep an extra just in case because I would be lost without it - so much easier to use instead of the regular blow dryer & it creates more volume & so much easier to style - my daughter finally bought one after me telling her to try it for years - well she loves it!!! she has shoulder length hair & it is thick & you can really see the difference now that she is using this brush dryer - also it doesn't take forever to dry/style your hair - o & also my hair is thin & when I get a blow dry in the salon & I go to an upscale salon for my cuts the blow dry doesn't last at all - with this brush dryer I can wash & dry my hair at night & it still looks good the next day - I totally recommend this Hot Air Curling Brush!!!

Go ahead and do yourself a favor, save money, and purchase another product. I almost never write product reviews, but I want to save people from the headache this product causes! It doesn't have enough power to dry your hair, even after 5+ passes. It's a gentle blow that you can barely feel. I purchased this to use on my own hair (thick and curly, more African American style) as well as my wigs (thin and straight, more Asian and European style). It couldn't dry either and doesn't work across any hair type. I also tried returning the product, and I was only given the option of troubleshooting with the device. I even tried contacting Amazon customer service who also directed me to Conair's troubleshooting videos. Then when troubleshooting didn't work (no surprise), I tried to return the item again. I was told that I had to contact the manufacturer (Conair) myself. When I called Conair they don't me they don't do refunds for purchases they don't make. Since they sold the products to Amazon, that's who would refund me. So I'm stuck in a loop There is no way to contact Conair directly. Conair has no email address, so you can only call their customer service line (1-800 number). I have called multiple times and am still able to get to a person who can refund my order. The phone is an automated customer service bot that only lets you get updates on your order status or Conair's products. SO, IF YOU WANT TO TAKE THE RISK AND TRY FOR YOURSELF- BEWARE YOU CAN'T RETURN OR GET YOUR MONEY BACK!

Although my hairdresser discouraged my use of it, I found I could use it by switching back and forth between High and Low settings. Also keep the brush moving while on High. No problems. But it is not for curling. My hair is straight, and it barely gives it any turn. The design would be better if the switch from Low to High were more prominent. It's hard to locate it as you're turning the brush.

This is a very good product! Good heat, gets the job done. Bought it as an exact replacement for the one I bought in the US eight years ago before my trip to the UK. The deciding point at the time was its ability to switch between US and UK voltage. It was still working just fine until I carelessly hit the plastic top against a hard surface. Without the top, there was no way to contain the combs. Spent a few days trying to refit and glue the top back on before I conceded the futility. Put the poor dear in the trash and was subsequently delighted to learn I could buy her exact replacement on Amazon.
