**EDIT TO ADD** The review posted below is still my true experience with the chair. However, I wanted to amend this review to include the customer service experience I had with this company. Approximately 2 days after the review was posted on Amazon, the company reached out to me via message on Amazon. They offered me a full refund on the chair, even though it was well past the 30-day return window (over 3 months since purchase, actually). I accepted and within 8 hours the refund was processed and the money back in my account. They also apologized for the experience and offered to send me a couple of different chairs to try, at no charge, to see if one of them would work for me. I should also mention, that even though I offered to return the original chair when they made the refund, they declined to because of any inconvenience to me. I've been purchasing on Amazon for well over a decade, reviewing for a number of years, was a part of the Vine Voice program for a year and I have NEVER had such an amazing customer service experience with ANY company. This company took it to a whole new level and as a customer I definitely appreciated how RARE that is on this platform. I do feel like you can buy any chair from MJSKY Home and feel confident that even if it doesn't work out for ANY reason, they are a company that will bend over backwards to make it right. Thank you for a truly memorable customer service experience, MJSKY Home!! Alright, I've got issues aplenty with this chair. I'll start by saying that I've purchased 4 or 5 office/gaming chairs on Amazon and I've always looked at a lot of options before deciding on a final purchase. I've had great success (or exceptionally good luck??) because I've been pleased with every chair I've ordered. Until this one. It shipped quickly and assembly was fairly easy. My husband only encountered a few problems when putting it together.....some misaligned holes, fabric covering a few of them, and he put the back support brace (or whatever that's called that determines how the back aligns with the seat) on the wrong way. That was more a "him problem" than a directions problem......since he refuses to use the directions until things aren't going together correctly. Anyway, that part was all fine. The problems started when I actually sat in the chair. The base plate that the seat attaches to is just......wonky. Not stable, lists to the right or left depending on where your body weight shifts. There is no way to adjust or tighten or correct for this no matter what you try. The seat cushion was good for about 10 minutes. Then the foam compressed to almost nothing and it felt like you were sitting on plywood. The seat height adjusts to allow my feet to rest comfortably on the floor at the MAX seat height. I'm 5'9"ish. This is supposed to be a chair for BIG, TALL, HEAVY people. There is no way someone 6' or over is going to find the seat height anywhere near comfortable. Then on day 3, I noticed that I seemed to be sitting much lower for some reason. Yep, the seat height had slowly lowered over 3 days of use. I adjusted it back to max height and again, after a few days I was sinking again. So every few days I had to adjust the seat height back to where I needed it. My other issue was probably more of an oversight on my part when ordering, but there is NO TILT TENSION adjustment on this chair. Which to me just seems crazy, but I probably shouldn't have assumed that EVERY office/gaming chair would have a tilt adjustment just because it has a reclining seat back. Anyway, you are stuck in a very stationary position, with a wonky base that tilts from side to side (but obviously not front to back cause, once again, NO TILT ADJUSTMENT!!!) in a chair that is slowly sinking while your butt is going numb from sitting on a worthless piece of deceptively thick foam on top of a very hard surface. I should also note that I am no where near the 400 lb ( I think that was the weight mentioned.....it might have been 450??) weight limit limit for this chair. I weight around 220. I just like a roomy chair (which this one is) and figured if it was a chair for big/tall/heavy it would also eliminate the struggle with height (or lack of) I have with most other chairs and would also stand up to the heavy use (8-10 hours a day) it would get. It failed on everything but the "roomy chair" thing. After using this one for a little over 2 months (I hate/detest/abhor the entire process of returning online purchases and stubbornly clung to the idea that my body would somehow adjust to the discomfort level over time??) but finally I ordered a different chair which is supposed to be here in 2-3 days. This one is being banished to the land of failures & poor decisions (otherwise known as the basement) as soon as the new one is assembled. I would give this chair a hard pass regardless of height, weight, or any other descriptor you're may be looking to accomodate. It’s a little short for a 6 ft person. Bottom is fixed and doesn’t lean with the back of the chair. Plastic mounts holds the foot rest in place. I never planned to use the foot rest so don’t know how well it will hold up. May fabricate better ones out of steel if I do use it. Just wanted a roomier chair to use my feet while gaming. Had it about a month. Pops a little when I lean on one arm rest to adjust my position from where the back connects to the bottom and wobbles a bit with light pressure. Screws still tight. Still satisfied so far. Did take about a month to deliver due to shipping issues, but seller fixed the issue. ... show more

The chair is as advertised. The parts were securely packed, and the screws neatly separated and labeled. The only problem I had in the assembly was with the armrests. On both the left and the right side, the screws were impossible to seat properly, and as a result they could not be tightened to prevent the arms from rattling. It's not all the makers' fault. But the screws were just too "hidden" to really work for me. I'm sure those with better skills would have no problem. The completed chair was exactly as advertised. However, the only other issue I have is the frailty of the foot rest. If I extend it any way to it's full travel, it really hangs lower to the ground than I would like. I am not sure just how long it will last. I am about 250 lbs. So, I'd still recommend it. Just get someone with handyman skills to put it together for you. ... show more

Edit to Review (now 5-stars) After working with the Customer Service Team of this seller, I need to edit my initial review. Clearly, I was upset at the product I received, but the Customer Service Team contacted me immediately after I posted my review and said they will make this right and they did. They replaced the chair and sent me a chair that met my needs. They communicated with me regularly and acknowledged my feedback during each email exchange. While the product they initially sent was not as I expected, their Customer Service Team made sure that a paying customer got their money’s worth in product. It is only because of the Customer Service Team that I am updating my review to 5-stars. This seller understands that customer service is just as important as selling the product. While I do not recommend the chair, I do recommend purchasing a chair or other products from this seller. They are one of the best customer service sellers I’ve encountered on Amazon, and they deserve business because they treat their customers right if there is a problem. In an age where sellers can easily brush off a customer, it’s nice to see a business that is dedicated to customer service. Easily a 5-Star Seller! Original Review: This chair is garbage. Every time I sit in it all I hear is cracking and snapping. I'm well under the advertised weight limit which is why I'm eating this so low.
