I read all the reviews before purchasing this product—especially the comments of how difficult it was to collect your blood sample. Sometimes bad reviews are the result of someone not following instructions properly, so I went ahead and purchased it anyway since the company is well recognised and recommended by the health community. I did not experience any issue collecting my blood and only needed 1 lancet to collect the required amount. Make sure you press firmly on the lancet to pierce your skin. I chose the side of the ring finger as they recommended. After you prick yourself, keep in mind the blood is not going to flow out like a fountain - it slowly drips. After the first 3 or 4 droplets the blood flow may start to slow down so you have to encourage it by massaging your finger. Make sure your hand is in a downward position (the gravity principle). Lightly squeeze and massage your finger downward to squeeze out the blood droplets. Be patient - it may take you a few minutes to collect the blood required. Collecting the urine sample is fairly easy. I read all the detailed instructions over at least 4 times and initiated my kit online just before collecting my samples - as per the instructions. There’s a series of questions when you initiate your kit online, so give yourself at least 5 minutes. The kit arrived in a discreet package which was then placed in an Amazon bag - so the delivery is fairly discreet. I had my results in 2 days once the lab received my samples. You can’t throw your return package in the mailbox, you have to use the enclosed prepaid UPS envelope which is included in your kit. You can drop it off at a nearby UPS location or arrange for a pick-up at your home - drop it off if you need to be discreet. I highly recommend this STD kit. The peace of mind I received that I was STD-free far out-weighed the cost. Also, don’t forget to make note of the tracking number on your return envelope so you can track your package.

This test kit requires substantially more blood that their competitors. Other tests I've taken require you to deposit 15 drops of blood on a notecard -- this required filling a vial. Despite providing additional blood, the company didn't provide me with my results, instead simply saying that it was "clotted". I've never had that issue before. They should have at least sent me another kit to send in another sample, but instead they consider it acceptable to not hold up their end of the deal.

I highly recommend this company!! If you don’t want to ever go out and get the test don’t then this product is for you!! You do everything yourself with step by step instructions! It only take about 5 mins!

Results came quickly and accurately in my opinion. It was difficult to do the blood draw. I don't bleed easily or have thick skin or something like that. Just be aware that might be challenging.

This product was perfect for me being inbetween health insurance plans. The lancet didn't provide a lot of blood but I was able to give them less than half of the required and I still got.my results which I am very happy about. I would recommend trying to give them the amount of blood they ask for as I feel lucky. I would recommend if you have thick skin to potentially buy and 2nd lancet order that goes deeper if you have thick skin. Next, I didn't like that they called me for my date of birth which I thought I had previously provided and I had missed their phone call and they weren't going to release my results until I provided the dob which I feel like they should have sent an email or left a voice mail. Like I was going to just keep waiting for the results without an additional phone call or another way to contact me? So I missed that call so how long was I going to wait until they followed up again? Good thing I contacted customer support and they informed me that they called and had been waiting for my dob lol. That part was weird but overall good product definitely follow every single step CAREFULLY. Activate the test kit, lancet, take blood on a week day, learn how to massage your fingers for more blood ect ect. Don't make this an impulsive decision definitely read as much as you can about the process took me probably an hour at least to complete from top to bottom

DO NOT GET THIS TEST. You need to fill a vial with a LOT of blood and it's like impossible to get that out of a finger stick. They give you a bunch of them so you can keep sticking yourself to get a tiny bit more blood out. I did a test like this before and they only needed a tiny amount on the antigen spots themselves and you just return the card. This one is a huge waste of money. DO NOT BUY
