I have read a number of other customers' reviews of this cordless drill-driver, and I am here to say that I don't currently need a high-end contractor-grade tool. I just need a basic entry-level tool that can handle my basic entry-level tasks. This one uses the same size battery as the Bosch impact driver the husband found on the roof of a flip house several years ago. Like the Bosch, I've noticed that this battery is a little bit tricky to remove. You have to squeeze the tabs pretty hard to release it. It took about 3 hours and 40 minutes to fully charge the battery using the supplied AC charger with a post connection that plugs into a socket on the battery - that socket is only exposed when the battery is removed, so you cannot charge the battery while it is mounted to the tool. I am curious whether the Bosch batteries will work with this tool and will try to locate the husband's battery and compare it with this one. Pink would never be my first choice - I am not a pinky-pink girl - but it does have the benefit of making sure that my tools won't grow legs because the husband is terrified of girly colors. The instruction manual is slim but reasonably helpful. There are plenty of nice features: rubberized grips, large numbers printed on the collar behind the clutch, an automatic work light, a thumb switch to control the direction, keyless chuck, and a handy speed switch on top for switching from drilling to driving. It is rugged, yet well-balanced and easy to hold and manage. I haven't experienced undue vibration or fatigue while using it, and it is not overly loud. The tool kit also includes an extension, a small assortment of basic drill bits and driver bits, and a small carrying case.

I must say, pretty nice drill! Of course, the color pink is a huge plus, for us ladies! When you plug in the charging cord and charge the battery, there is a RED light (on the plug), to indicate to you that the drill is charging. Once drill had finished charging, it will turn green. Drill handled comfortably and the instructions were easy to read. This drill comes with a cutesy PINK canvas bag, a variety of drill bits and "screw" bits. It was a pleasure to use this drill! It also has a flashlight on it, when in use, it lights your way...so you can see what you are drilling! Changing the drill bits was effortless. The ONLY issue I seemed to have is taking off the battery, removing the battery from the drill. You have to push in the 2 tabs (at the same time?), and I find it quite difficult to do (making it difficult to remove the battery). Overall, this is a nice drill! Every girl should own one!

My brother is a multi-decade old licensed contractor. What is the drill he cherishes, and reaches for first? The 12 volt one. Its compact design, and powerful enough to accomplish most tasks is the winning combination. This one, although not the big-name brand does the job just as well. As a matter of fact, it has a handle that is more ergonomically designed. Instead of just a straight shaft, this one has contoured that naturally sculpts it to your grip. The charger is not a big bulky one either. By removing the battery, and it comes with only one, you simply plug the charger into the battery alone. The charging cable plugs into the wall with a converter built into the plug, and the business end that goes into the battery is just a nice small round plug. I did notice that the pin inside of the battery is slightly off center so I took a box cutter knife with a fine point tip, and moved it over just a hair, and it worked fine. It is entirely possible it would work fine even without the minor adjustment I took. It even comes with a nice pink canvas bag for storage or travel. It is zipper lined. The included instruction manual goes into everything, but some of the prominent features are... 1) Keyless chuck. You just grab the end with your fingers and loosen or tighten. 2) Two speeds. Sometimes you want to drill slow, sometimes fast, with a simply flip of the switch/paddle on top of the drill motor area and you have the speed of your preference. 3) Adjustable clutch. When you don't want to strip out your screws you can adjust the slip clutch to the amount of resistance before it slips which is easily identifiable due to the numbered slip clutch ring. 4) Of course, it has a forward or reverse setting that is conveniently controlled by the button that you can push in from either side. All in all, a really nice performing drill. A great gift for that special lady. So much more practical than most anything else she already has. Highly recommended.

When I saw this pink drill I had to have it. It’s my first drill so I’m not very familiar with them; however, this one seems just fine. It didn’t take too long to fully charge. Came with easy to understand instructions that made it super helpful in figuring out how to use it. I love the pink storage bag that was included. No complaints.
