I am 100% happy with this ice machine. It does crank out the ice. I made 80 lbs of ice in a 1 1/2 days. Besides the ice machine, I am extremely impressed with Hothope's customer service. I had an issue where the door for the ice storage bin wasn't installed when I received the ice maker. Not sure how that happened. I contacted Hothope and they responded immediately. They were very apologetic about the door not being installed and they made a personal how-to video for me. It worked out perfect and I installed the door quickly!! No matter what you buy on Amazon, sooner or later you will have an issue. Its how the seller responds to that issue. Hothope provides excellent customer service along with a great product!!! I highly recommend it

Piece of junk, called customer support to talk to them , they would call me back after I paid $5.00 to talk to a tech that’s called you on his time, who said that if water pump is out , cheaper to buy another ice maker. But to their knowledge they don’t understand that you can steer around that crap. You can find them on eBay, Amazon and other sites. I will be looking for an American made one after this pump I put on there wears out.

I put this in my garage since I didn't have a good location with a drain. I just placed it up a little on a platform and put the drain hose in a bucket that I can empty if needed from ice melting. I put this next to my deep freezer so I can just bag ice and throw into my deep freezer for when I need it. It makes ice really quick. I filled 2 bags and then turned it off until I need to make more ice. I used the 5 gallon jug method of water delivery. It also comes with a water line and in line filter if you want it set up that way.

Ice Machine itself works great and exactly as advertised. Ice makes quickly and will easily handle your consumption. Machine needs complete cleaning & inspection before use. A small peice of plastic was left inside the water tray, luckily it floated and I noticed it before it jammed the machine. Automatic cleaning cycle and regular maintenance make it simple to keep your machine in top working order. Do not recommend using lemon juice as per the instructions, to much pulp fiber can cause clog, stick to bleach/water solution as instructed in user manual. Product was shipped prompltly and worked right out of the box. Would recommend and pruchase again.

HotHope customer service is completely not knowIng what they are doing. I started have issues with this ice maker a few months after I got it. I called their number, but no one every answered or returned my messages. It just stops making ice and has an E of the display. I sent meltiple videos of this to them by email. If you dont pay attention to the machine every day, when you need ice, you will not have any everything has melted. The little flipper bar does not flip enough to reset the cycle. After months of emails from Hothope, they send me an email of how to take the whole machine apart to "clean" it. It is advertised as a self cleaning. I did the self cleaning cycle 3 times in a row multiple time and within few hours, it stopped making ice again. Now Hothope wants me to pay for shipping the ice maker back to them from MS to CA and get a box and styrofoam because they this charge me for dents and stratches from shipping. Also pay a service fee to check out the machine before they might refund this purchase. Now they have the machine and my money to but it. The dimensions are not correct. It is an inch off, so I had to adjust placement because of that. NOWHERE does it give you a water filter replacement number. I have 2 different filter systems on my house and the filter for this ice make. My water is filtered because I use it for my 150 gallon freshwater aquarium. My water is good.
