I bought these shoes for a recent hiking trip into the mountains and trails in Banff Canada. We got a surprising snowstorm and while my friends and others were slipping and sliding on the snow packed trail. I kept my feet the whole time and they stayed dry and warm in temperatures down to 0°C. The comfort was overall good but I may get a gel sole in the future. I’m wearing these now while hiking on the Isle of Skye. The ground is often soggy and they have also gotten wet rain and walking in wet grass. Worked great stayed dry. Comfortable and well made. Good support Maybe a tad heavy, but I don’t mind. Great value

Can't beat these for the price! I am notoriously hard on shoes!! I work in industrial maintenance, these shoes are awesome! They are comfortable, lightweight, durable don't make my feet sweat in the summer and I've even worn them for brief periods of snow removal, they have held up for the better part of a year against welding, plasma cutting, grinding, etc. No fire bugs get through the leather material, and most importantly for me the soles are still completely intact with no gaps, or signs of failure in the toe area, with literal everyday 10-12 hours of wear time ... show more

Solid, well-made shoes. I bought this for work since I had to be on the floor almost the entire day. The shoes are also not very slippery at all, unlike what others have mentioned. My only complaint is that they are a bit heavier than normal branded shoes (Under Armour, Nike, etc.), but again, you get what you pay for. Also, the right foot arch started hurting recently, so I am switching back to normal shoes to see if that changes anything, if it's got anything to do with these shoes. ... show more
