I'm very happy with my ice maker, we have put it in my husband's garage for now but it will eventually make it to the pool deck. The machine is heavy and thankfully my husband was able to manhandle it from the driveway into his garage. The ability to make different size ice cube is cool and how quickly it made the first bin of ice was faster than I thought it would be. We did cycle through 2 full ice bins before we started eating it but that's only because I worked in restaurants and that's what they would make us do with me ice makers. The wide opening is perfect to scoop out the ice and it is quiet.

I've had three ice makers now. All with self feeding water inlets. I hook it into the fridge line and it makes ice all day without having to manually fill it up. This is the best one for the price so far. Has a large capacity ice compartment. The ice make is very quiet compared to others and my Ames ice very quick. Very good and sturdy product and I definitely recommend this ice maker.

This ice maker has been a total party saver! I hosted two events at home over the weekend and never ran out of ice. It produces ice quickly, and unless you have a constant stream of people using it, you’ll be just fine.I purchased the 90 lbs version, and it easily handled a party with 20–25 guests. The machine is relatively quiet — I only noticed a sound when it dropped the fresh ice cubes into the bin. Installation was straightforward and manageable for one person. I’d definitely recommend this if you entertain often or just like having plenty of ice on hand."
