After opening the box I come to find out the bracket on the top inside the ice cube holding area was detached from the glue and the front door would not slide open. After taking the tracking out I was able to reglue the front bracket on. Will update on how it performs with ice making.

Fantastic Ice Maker & product support. I bought this to replace a similar Gilati Ice Maker that finally died after 3 or 4 years. I thought I liked the Gilati until I began using this one…..it makes ice faster, is extremely quiet and the ice stays frozen because of the better insulation in the holding area. The ice is also much harder. This unit was shipped upside down due to a Fed Ex driver error…..I noticed it when I went to assist the driver in getting the unit from the truck. I reached out to the seller and they suggested I wait at least 48 hours to start it up (I waited 4 or 5 days) and they provided an extended warranty to ensure the ice maker wasn’t damaged. STOP LOOKING - BUY IT! You wont be disappointed.

Ice Maker arrived banged up (several significant dents in top and side). It looks nice but we haven't used or connected it yet. May return.
