High production machine that will support heavy ice consumption for home use. Installed fairly easily with one trip to hardware store for parts to fit it to my existing drain from large capacity ice machine. Quite loud at first when the ice starts to fail into the empty large capacity bin, but less noisy as it fills up with ice. Seems to be well built, certainly a bargain for the price, came in very good protective packing. Not as quiet as our previous Whirlpool but 3x the capacity at 1/3 rd of the cost. Bought this Icemaker to help with our families demand on ice consumption, and honestly after ready some of the reviews I was not sure. But I am glad I made the purchase, it produces enough ice to last us all day and stays frozen for at least 2 -3 days before starting to melt. Great Product!

After researching several machines we decided on this one. Ran a water line to it and plumbed the drain. Our technicians love grabbing ice out of the machine in the morning for there coolers. No more wasted time stopping to buy ice. It is a win/win.
