Been using it for 2 weeks on the job and the tool itself does the work but the bits are cheap. The philips bit, first hit exploded other then the bits being cheap the tool is holding up!

I needed an small impact driver to undo some really stuck M4x10 screws to remove the gas cap from a motorcycle that's been sitting for 15-20 years. Since they're tiny screws I first used the PH1 bit. That worked for two of the screws with lots of pounding but the threads were so frozen on two of the screws the the PH1 bit stripped the Phillips heads on two of the screws. Yikes! I then tried the PH2 bit and pounded really hard on the impact driver. That actually worked! I recommend this impact driver since it did exactly what I bought it for There's no good instructions on how to set the direction to loosen or tighten but if you look very closely at the head the a small arrow stamped into the head. Turn that arrow pointing to the L on the handle to loosen or have it point to the R to tighten. I made the attached graphic, printed it and taped it to the case so I'll remember next time I use this. The bits fly around in the case which is a bad design but I used double sided tape to add a strip of foam in the top of the case to prevent that. ... show more

There are some tools that most people need only _very_ infrequently...but when you need one you REALLY need one! Impact drivers fall in that category. You don't want to pay very much because you hardly ever use it, so "convenience" isn't an issue; it just has to work. That sums up this driver set...not particularly great, but pretty cheap and seems to work just fine. ... show more
