I really love this VEVOR ice machine. I got the one that holds 30 lbs of ice. It works great and makes plenty of ice for what I need here in Arizona. I’m very happy with this purchase. For my setup, I bought two 5-gallon containers, one for fresh water and one to collect the melted water, and that has worked out really well for me. It makes the whole setup much easier to manage. I would have loved to keep it in the kitchen, but we just do not have the space for it, and I do not want to take apart a cabinet for that. So for now, I keep it at the coffee bar for my daily iced coffee lol. Overall, this machine has been great and does exactly what I needed it to do. The only small downside is that the ice melts fairly quickly, although I also live in Arizona lol, so if we do not use the ice fast enough, some of it goes to waste. Other than that, I have really enjoyed using it. I previously had a very expensive sphere ice maker that did not work out, and I ended up getting this machine because of its simplicity. We love this machine! It makes ice quickly and it doesn't melt fast. It is a little bit loud when the ice drops but you get used to it. There is a lot of warm air that comes out of the front vent so whatever room you have it in will be a lot warmer than normal. It's easy to set up but I wish the instructions would explain the control panel a bit more. ... show more

Update: ice melts this is not a freezer that keeps it completely frozen. We are going through about 5 gallon bucket drain per week so you gotta make sure you add that to the water .. OK, now here’s my review on the icemaker. My wife and I were going back-and-forth as which one to get either a countertop for chips or this one for squares. I won, and so far it’s been fantastic. Granted it hasn’t been set up this morning. Very east set up and comes fully set up. I would’ve gave it five stars other than the cons that I had. Pros: 1. Ice scoop is nice and metal 2. Super simple connections 3, I had this going in within the first hour. It was 1/4 way filled. 4. Ice cub sizes and cleaning modes are great 5. 120lb vs 100lb which is great for parties and events. It also makes it very fast and keeps up. 6. Interior blue light. Cons: 1. No filter had to buy separate. 2. I ended up connecting this out in my garage. It is fairly loud. I don’t recommend having it indoors unless you can put it in a separate room. 3. I have this straining in a bucket and I think I’m gonna have to buy a pump in order to get it uphill because the way that they have the outlet is so low the ground. 4. You can’t level feet they are fixed. Overall this is a fantastic by and I would definitely 100% by it again. The quality of the machine overall is fantastic. I love this stainless steel and I can’t believe how fast it makes ice. I went with this option over the hundred lb options because it doesn’t fill all the way up and I wanted to be able to get an extra 20 pounds. This ice machine is the real deal. I actually installed it outside under a canopy because we host a lot. When we first installed it we had a party later on that day and it was hot and yet the machine still produced plenty of ice and in spite of not being in a refrigerated holder still kept the ice cold and melted. Keep in mind it was about 86° that day. The only drawback is that it does not come with a filter -You have to go out and purchase one separately which was a little bit of a hassle but it makes up for it in performance. Love the ice maker. Make sure you put a regulator on it or it won’t work. We have had issues with it stopping making ice and we have to reset it. Inconvenient, but it is great for the outside kitchen.
