I teach math and often use an overhead document camera. Most of the time I have to zoom way in to see my calculator, and it's slick on the back so it slides if I press a button too hard...Decided to go all out and get this big fella. I am extremely satisfied with it. It is huge, it has rubber feet, and the buttons are nice and clicky. I know when I've pressed a button...So tactile. Does fine with the solar power, but I often keep my lights dim. Glad it has a battery option, and it actually came with the battery: One AA. Everyone wanted to handle the new calculator. I am impressed.

I had hoped for a setting which would set decimals so I could use like an adding machine. But it’s a nice calculator with big buttons for my little desk, almost feels like an old style desktop calculator.

I really like this calculator and this model's particular form factor and size. I was a little worried about this purchase since most everything is made cheaper today than 20-30 years ago. I must say this is a good purchase. Very inexpensive, but excellent quality. Most importantly the display and buttons/keys are top notch. I like the angle of the display, really just right. The calculator worked immediately from the solar cell but was dim. I put in the single AA battery and it was super clear and dark. I really like the auto shut off at about 10 minutes. The 'MU' button/feature is excellent to calculate the % increase and decrease of two values, up or down. The back arrow key is nice to correct a wrong key in value too. Good instructions too that explain how to take advantage of the round up and down and # of digits using the sliding switches. Great product! Thanks to Amazon for making it Prime too.

I got rid of a desktop calculator years ago, thinking I could get by with the one built into my phone but sometimes I needed to use a calculator at the same time I was using an app. When I started needing the square root function, I decided on this unit because it is similar to the desktop version I used to have. This works great and I’d buy it again.
