Yes, the pull strap to recline is a little difficult and ghetto, but its such a lovely looking and comfortable chair. I love rocking my baby in it and also getting comfort for myself. Update: Had the chair 3 weeks now. The back is still wrinkled (I tried hot towels, etc) but not terrible. What does bug me is one of the arm pads is crushed in the front corner, can't manipulate the stuffing to fill it in. We still like the chair so I guess we will overlook it. Can't imagine trying to send it back. Initial review: We received what we thought was part of our chair 5 days after ordering. We unpacked what looked like just the bottom of the chair. So I texted distributor thru Amazon. He answered me on a Saturday nite and informed me everything was in that single box! So, we turned it over and could not believe the parts stuffed under the bottom of the chair! Sure enough, it was EVERYTHING. ha! Took my husband and I about an hour to put it all together. Chair looks great except the chair back which was vacuum packed. It is terribly wrinkled and has "ridges". I've read in the reviews that this goes away after a bit--we will see. If I don't come back and update this review with bad news then it's safe to assume everything "aired out". Now for the operation of the chair--neither my husband or I have a problem clicking the footrest back in place. My husband is more fit than I am but I can do it just fine. I do have a bit of a problem pulling the "rip cord" to raise the footrest but I've found that if I use my opposite hand (left) it's easier. The chair does seem to be very well made and looks nice except for wrinkles which they say come out. As of right now I would recommend the chair wholeheartedly, especially considering the price and the quick delivery.

We're really impressed with the quality of this chair. The faux leather does seem to damage easily. We haven't scratched it yet but it's inevitable. Definitely not as resilient as real leather, but that's to be expected. It came with a small tear in the back panel, but nothing bad. It's very easy to put together. The chair partially reclines and fully reclines depending on what you prefer. It's easy to get in and out of. You'll need a few feet of space behind the chair to recline it. I was worried the chair would be to big for the room, which is 10x10, but it's perfect. I remeasured the chair in standard position and it's 33x33. This is smaller than advertised. The chair rocks, but almost feels like a glider. It's very smooth. The massage feature is more of a vibrate than a massage, but I still find it relaxing. Overall, it's exactly what I expected. I removed one star because the damage to the unit, but that was probably from the delivery service.

What you see advertised on Amazon, looks great, but what you end up getting let's you a bit down and wanting more. First all this is a totally Chinese type of Ikea furniture, it comes in a small box, so right there it will make you wonder if you got everything, we'll you do, the size of this chair is large but excuse me not American large, lol, I think this chair would be better suited for my 17 yr old. Look at the pictures I added and decide. Now putting this thing together was not difficult but it will show you the quality of this thing, that beat up sofaof mine you see, lasted me 7 years, I seriously doubt this will be around that long. The materials are thin and feels cheap, the "Massage feature" Well it's a joke really" more gimmick than useful seriously doubt this is worth what I paid for it, you probably could have bought this on Temu for a lot cheaper.Also the armrests are a joke and ate floppy they don't stay put and move around. The metal frame for the armrest supports is dangerous hit myself twice by accident and hurt my heal and knee.The pros, the back rest is firm, the rocker swivel function is good, does not take up a lot of space like my old rocker. So there you decide. Would I buy this again or recommend this??? Nope seriously thinking about sending this back.

Massage capabilities are minuscule. This is not a massage chair. It feels like those cheap $15 massage pads you buy and put it on a random chair. The ease of assembly has the be spotlight for this. It will come in two shipments, light boxes, less than 50 pounds each. Assembling is simply just sliding the parts into place. It’s an ok chair, it’s stiff, if your looking for something to sink in, this isn’t it. Reclining capabilities are weak as well. To kick open the foot rest, there’s a little small plastic handle inside where you sit and you pull on it. It’s cheap and seems like it can break easily. $450 after shipping and taxes seems steep for something of this quality but I will stick with it Because it’s temporary. Ok chair, but it’s nice enough for me to keep. Isn’t for tall people though, someone 5,5 and smaller would be perfect for this chair. Your short bf/gf would love it, your golden retriever would love it, your kids would love. Having two cup holders is bad ass tho and you can rotate it all around. Just don’t lean it up against a wall or be to rough with the chair because it will rip. I’d give it 3.8/5 stars.
