  • Great value!
I’m extremely pleased with the Comgrow 2 Pack A1 Mini/A1 Hotend Print Head Bundle! These hotends were easy to install and worked perfectly right out of the box. The print quality has been excellent, with smooth extrusion and consistent performance even during longer prints. Having a two-pack is a huge bonus because it provides a reliable backup and great value for the price. The build quality feels solid, and they heat up quickly and maintain stable temperatures. This bundle is a fantastic option for anyone wanting dependable replacement parts for their A1 Mini or A1 printer! ... show more

  • Clogged after 2 prints. These aren't nearly as good or reliable as the real Bambu heads.
I am very experienced with 3D printers so it isn't user error. I know how to use and calibrate my printers. Got 2 prints out of these before they started to clog on EVERY print after about 30 minutes. Junk. For comparison I literally get hundreds of hours out of real Bambu heads before issues start to show up. I got less than 5 hours out of these before they started to clog every single time. Don't waste your money. Just go and buy the real deal and save yourself a lot of headaches and wasted time/filament. The real print heads aren't that expensive, just buy them instead of these and be happy. ... show more

  • Perfect Drop-in Replacement
As someone who runs multiple Bambu Lab A1 Minis in a small print farm, I rely on consistent, high-quality hotends. The Comgrow 2-Pack A1 Hotend Kit arrived well-packaged with two full hotend assemblies, five silicone socks, and a flexible silicone cleaning brush. I installed both into A1 and A1 Mini units—here’s how they performed. Installation Installation was straightforward. This is a true drop-in replacement—no firmware tweaks or additional calibration required. The included hardened 0.4mm nozzle is pre-installed and torqued properly. Swapping the hotend took less than 10 minutes using the stock tools. Performance I’ve run over 150 hours of prints across PLA, PETG, and carbon fiber-filled Nylon. These nozzles handle high temps without degrading or clogging. The hardened steel tip holds up especially well to abrasive filaments, and I noticed less nozzle wear compared to the stock brass hotend. Temperature stability was solid, and the silicone socks helped maintain thermal consistency even on long prints. Extras The inclusion of a silicone brush is a nice touch for cleaning the hotend without damaging the coating or heating block. The socks fit snugly and stay put—no sagging or loosening over time. I wish there were a few more included, but five is generous for a two-pack kit. Pros: • 100% compatible with A1 and A1 Mini • Hardened steel nozzles = longer life • Excellent value for the price (2-pack) • Print quality on par with OEM or better • Handles high-temp and abrasive filaments effortlessly ... show more

  • worked for me (with bonus adventure story)
I bought these after a "wrapped-in-plastic" disaster that necessitated replacing my hotend heat assembly on my A1. I'll admit that I bought that and these hot end nozzles as 3rd party items from Amazon because I could get them "next day". I was in the middle of a little project and didn't want to wait for shipping from Bambu Lab. I see several 1-star reviews saying these nozzles are crap and useless. That was my experience when first trying them after replacing my hotend heat assembly and doing a full calibration. I could not get any first layer adhesion for simple benchy test prints. It was getting late at night, so I shut things down with the plan to investigate more the next day. Lo and behold, the next day they worked fine. I printed a few benchy prints with these and an offical Bambu Lab hardened steel nozzle. No problems and no obvious difference. I don't really know what happened. I was simply swapping nozzles and reprinting the same model from the printer menu. I guess the moral of the story for anyone having problems is "just wait overnight and try again". :-) The heat socks included in this kit are a little suboptimal. Although they have some ridges on the side for grabbing with a tool, they are hard to put on and take off. The reason is that there is a simple hole for the tip of the nozzle. I "fixed" them by slicing from that hole to the back of the heat sock so that it was easier to slide the heat sock straight on and off the nozzle. ... show more

  • Prints as well as OEM! Prints as well as OEM!
I am not a fan of third party parts as most cost the same or more versus original OEM direct from Bambu Lab, but in this case...I couldn't resist given Bambu Lab ended deals on their cool plates ($7 each) and nozzles(less than $10 each)...and wanted to share with you in case you wanted to give it a try too. Used the cool plate that I purchased at the same time from the same brand for only $12. (Amazing btw). First print with new nozzle and cool plate was amazing. Better than a disaster I expected....the holder turned out great. I think I will order more to fill the 2 empty spots. The 2 hotends/nozzles in photo shows you the OEM on the left and this nozzle on the right. The rubber sleeve font is the only difference I noticed. Printed with Bambu Lab PLA Tough+ Grey and Silver. ... show more
