This bumper has been such a game changer for our two year old. He was constantly rolling out of bed when we switched him from a crib to the toddler mattress on the floor, which would lead to him waking up a bunch and fussing until we came in to re-situate him. Everyone was losing sleep. This was resolved as soon as we put the bumper under his sheet at the edge of the bed. It doesn’t take up too much room, so he has plenty of space to sleep and move. It’s a perfect balance between firm and soft - my husband and I enjoy leaning against it while we lay next to him to sing songs at bed time. I bought this as a bumper for my toddler's bed for the side against the wall and it works great for that purpose. I wouldn't use this to keep him from falling out of bed though. My son (2 years old) is a bit of a tornado while sleeping, so this wouldn't keep him from falling out, I got a much taller guard rail for that.

This is exactly as described. Make sure you let it sit for at least 24 hours to get the right shape because it will come out of the box deformed looking.

My little girl kept sliding off the bed at the entrance where her toddler crib didn't have the rail. This bumper works very very well and protects her from falling out of the bed. The bumper is thick and has a nice angle to it. It covers the whole length of her toddler bed
