  • gorgeous.
Color: Black
i just recieved mine today the black one, i got curious , so i read the instructions, then pluged it my moms room, started on low , my oh my i was blown away at how fast it heated the room, and the fireplace look is simply a beauty, i only wish it had a automatic timer to shut off once the tempture reaches tempture. like my current heater , it shuts off when the room gets warm enough. what i figure when i run it i'll just will shut it by the hour with only the fire part on, then turn it on again once it's been an hour, it does get hot fast even on the low setting, all in all what a lovely masterpiece, i do have a real fireplace in my condo, but i sealed it off when my mom bough the place 27 years ago, the fire look just blows my mind , i love mine, haha, ya know i had a dream of owning one of these beautys, i'm so happy i found this one, i ran it for a while to get rid of that oily smell , now that smell is gone, got 5 canaries and i don't want to hurt there lungs, thank you amazon for this beauty, hope it lasts a long while, the heat it sends out is amazing for how small it is, what a gift ,i bought it as a gift , and i'm happy i did, its so pretty looks just like a mini fireplace, so amazing, i recommend to anyone, would make a lovely gift. so so lovely , thank you seller for this beautiful masterpiece. so amazing. ... show more

  • Bought 2 - last minute gifts - they both work great! Perfect for teenagers! UPDATES...
Color: Red
I ordered last minute (4 days before Christmas) and they hurried to get it to my door on the 23rd! We bought 2 of these - one for each of our boys. So far they are working perfectly, and the boys love them! Thank you so much! They love the funky flames (looks like lava - very cool to teenagers), and I really like the safety feature on the bottom. If the unit tips over it shuts itself off. A+! Update 3-6-15 ------------ Still going strong! Both are still working perfectly. No issues at all. One of my sons tripped on the cord running through his room (wrassling with his older Brother. Teenagers - tsk) and the cord yanked out of the wall - the unit a wrecking ball across the room. It hit a table - the corner of the closet - and rolled into the foot-board of his bed at mach 10. That little heater started right up without a single mark on it. Incredibly sturdy. Not so much for the closet or foot board...nice permanent dings in the wood trim/wood panel. :p UPDATE 12-24-15 ------- One of the heaters broke tonight. The one that wasn't the wrecking ball from the March update. It was working fine this morning and early afternoon (as it always has). We left for 5 hours for Christmas Eve at relatives, came home and it might be a goner. Closed room - nothing to compromise the heater - no one was home. We came home less than an hour ago and my son started it up. First turn on the switch - the unit comes on - the lights come on - but the unit sounds nothing like it usually does and virtually no heat emits. Turned it up to the second and/or third switch - the whole unit shuts off. No heat - no lights. Fiddled with it for a bit but it's late and it's Christmas. We will work on it to see if we can get it running again, fingers crossed we will be able to. It's colder than eek! now - so I just ordered a third one (cheaper than when I bought the first 2) with rush delivery. I still give it 5 stars as these cheap little units run in the winter daily (sometimes all day) and have had no issues until now. Of course they are stored in the spring and summer/early fall. They should last with normal use way longer than this. Will check it and update if we find anything... UPDATE 1-3-2016 -- Happy New Year! We bought a third unit that same night (above), which is currently in use. We fiddled with the broken one, but couldn't find a reason why it would suddenly stop working. The day the replacement arrived (on time as promised by Amazon), my son tried the broken unit one more time to see if it would work. Lo and behold - it started up! Of course it would! It seems to work fine now, but I don't trust it. We tagged it and stored it in the basement for now. By the way - the new one was cheaper than when I'd bought the first two the year before. Perhaps it's because it is an older model/design? Or maybe it was just 'the Amazon cycle' - when Amazon toys with prices. I don't know...but I paid roughly $5 less than the year prior. One more thing. My son started the new one when I was there with him. It 'squealed' for a second then started up. I looked at my son with a "what was that?!" look - and he said the old one did it too. I turned it on and off a few times - sure enough - it squealed before the heat came on. I checked our other unit that my other son uses (the March unit - see above) and it does it too. I think it's weird - I don't remember hearing it before, but it does seem to be the way the units are made. Update 12-31-20 Well - the March bangaroo unit was finally retired a few weeks ago. I was in my youngest son's room cleaning up and went to dust the heater and noticed he'd put duct tape over the back vent (I'm rolling my eyes right now). I asked him why is this duct taped? He said he'd accidentally kicked it (not on at the time) in a heated video game match and it fell over so he thought he'd use it for a foot rest for a little bit and poked his toe through the plastic fan vent holes. LOL! So he "fixed it" with gorilla tape :p (this event happened about 6 months prior to me finding it). Once again a safety issue - I took it and replaced it with a newer metal version. This one still works without issue but thought it best to just upgrade to a new one. Still 5 stars! It's demise was through no fault of it's own... ... show more

  • 😍 Heat Beast update
Color: Red
After the last update, not 24 hours later, heater stopped working. Was gonna toss it. Not sure what happened. The heater stopped producing but the fire was on. Thankfully, before taking it to the trash plugged into the wall and boom, it’s working fine. Upon testing several more weeks figured out there must be a shut off mechanism for overheat possibly. The cord shows no signs of overheating. The heater works as normal. Until it doesn’t. I only use during the day because it has no thermostat regulation. The room it’s in gets very toasty. Too much so. At night switch to the OG reliable with a thermostat regulator that keeps the temp perfect for us. I’m glad it isn’t broken. But it’s weird how it dies. Then, given time resurrects itself in its complete glory. With the wild arrival blast of arctic - 30 below rare occurrence for a few weeks was glad the heater decided to return to normal. The daytime was pleasant. But, as the temperature outside improved this little beast is not needed. Despite new windows this old house gets a little chilly indoors when it’s -30 plus below outside windchill. Most of the time no heater is needed. Upon trying this device at night couldn’t stand how warm it was on low. During the day moving around it was helpful on those brisk days that impacted the house overall temp. Read other people complain about the heater. I can understand why now. Though, figuring out it’s a build glitch am glad it still functions once it’s had a chance to cool itself. The plug itself is solid. Didn’t melt or show any signs of difficulty. Minus one start for the inconvenience. But having the older well endowed back up made this discovery a little less troublesome. The other mighty little heater is old. 2016. But has outlasted multiple high end options purchased on Amazon that didn’t last and their shut off was superseded by melted cords. Dangerous. We’re using in a room that’s 144 square feet. Perhaps in a larger room this dragon would be perfect. Originally bought for the largest room redirected to a smaller one this winter. Hope this update is helpful for buyers /\ update Have used this heater almost daily during the day when it’s below 20 degrees outside as this house is from 1900 and a little chill can be felt. Using on the second floor rather than first as originally planned. Found a replacement fireplace for the community room. Trying this in a frequented room to give it a good testing often. Every day check the cord and plug for overheating. Melting. Any signs this heater can’t handle its job. Happy to report not a blemish. This gadget has not thermostat. Runs constantly when plugged in. Despite this I’ve had ZERO issues with it keeping its plug integrity. No overheating. This super affordable tiny giant of a heater out performs more expensive options hands down. After spending hundreds and tossing heater after heater four years in a row we have a winner. I don’t use it at night due to it running constantly. It gets a break through the evening. After a few months of use can recommend this for daytime use. It makes a room with 144 square feet very warm. Does require being turned off when the room reaches a desired temp or it’ll get too toasty despite being on the lowest of two settings. One thing to keep in mind if going off my experience to purchase, quality control. If this company can remain consistent with quality control this is the best heater I’ve found since 2016 and would be a great purchase for anyone. Make sure to do your own checks when using for safety purposes. Do not assume the plug is not overheating just because one customer says theirs did not. Even though this little giant of a heat wave does a wonderful job in this old vintage vibe house does not mean I’m not continuing to ensure it is functioning. This heater is a beast. Highly recommend! /\ update Debated if this would be my selection for 2024. I’ve had issues with portable heaters at every price range in my 1900’s property. New power box and I only buy when a safety is included for overheating. The only heater with zero issues bought at a big box in 2016 is a Comfort Zone. End of season sale. Hard to believe for the price (Daily Deal) this nugget sports a tiny fire place. Thing I didn’t take into account when purchasing, the settings. There’s no thermostat. Just a high and low setting. The flame can be used year round as it is its own setting, first. Once passing it remains on. For me, this device goes in a room that doesn’t interfere with sleep. So the fireplace setting isn’t an issue. Though, I’m also not planning to leave it on if unattended despite having the emergency safety to turn off if it over heats. Why? No thermostat or means of controlling temperature. For the price and room when planning to use is not an issue. But, if I was using during extreme cold weather to off set the chill in a room would use thermostat lead only. This doesn’t lose stars for me. The price point, functionality, and as others note, cute fireplace feature are a win. If there are any issues during use will be back with an update. So far, in the past three years I’ve returned one heater and tossed three expensive, over a $100 price tags, for the plug beginning to melt, despite there was suppose to be the overheat safety mechanism. I always check the cords regularly if it’s brisk out to ensure continued function. Not trusting a product will always do what it says. For $30 am willing to take the risk on a heater used on occasion. Not continued brisk weather use. One notable option I’m very happy about, when the heater is on, if ya put your hand on the floor in front of the device, it’s cold. The heat blows up. Which is appropriate. Though, I’m amazed at how well this heater maintains its airflow up and out. As the base is so close to the floor am happy it functions so safely. Leaving the floor or in my case sturdy stand cool and not impacted by the heat being expelled forward. Would I rebuy, it’ll depend on how this one functions. Hoping like the other this still works seven years later like the Comfort Zone version that’s worked for eight years. In regards to noise, both heat settings produce hum. If your expectation is zero noise, turn up your house heat. Even this, if you have a gas furnace like me produces noise. If your expectation is a low hum in the background like brown noise or a fan type sound, this could work, for you. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ ... show more
