The media could not be loaded. I woke up with back pain and I had ordered this massager a few days before. Thank God it came on the same day that I had woke up with the worst back pain to the point that I was having a hard time bending over or standing straight. My 13year old son helped me bring it inside the house and open it open. Set up was so easy. I sat down for 1st session. Then a 2nd session with the pad removed for a more intense massage. I couldn’t believe it when I got up the pain was gone. Honestly the best $200. I ever spent. Then my husband can home from a long day at work and I told him what happened. He sat down and started his sessions. For him it was his back and neck. He sat there in total bliss lol… he stood up and said wow it worked your right. We have both gotten couples massages before and the relief of that reset was the same result we got with the comfier massager. It not only massages but it has a comfortable heat, consistent vibration, perfect rolling massagers for the back neck and shoulders, and air pads for a more snugged feel. The neck massager adjusts for the upper full neck on down to hit up your shoulders. We love it. I recommend getting a foot massage also with foot and calves massaging for the full experience. I bought a great one from homemedic at bed and beyond!!! Like any massage I allow my body to reset 2-3 days before getting another massage. But everyone’s body is different it you may need only 1 day to reset before getting another massage. Received as a birthday present. It was packaged very nicely and shipped well. It actually came on my birthday even though it was ordered 2 days prior and was supposed to come a few days after - so shipping was extremely fast. This unit fits an office-style chair with a thick back very well, as the elastic straps have more than enough stretch to securely fasten. The unit itself is very comfortable and accommodates a larger body fairly well, surprisingly enough! The shiatsu motions as well as the rolling massage work very well (I ended up removing the removable back pad to get a little more feeling out of the massagers, as was suggested in the instruction book). The heat option is amazing when you're dealing with lower back pain as I do. It comes and goes, so this has been perfect for helping to alleviate my pain. You could keep it on your office chair and use it as a pad, but you do lose some of the real estate of your chair, so I end up taking the unit off the chair and setting it off to the side, just to keep it at its best, as I'm not sure it's meant to be sat on all the time, say, if you work from home like I do. The neck massager is a great feature as well, but in order to move it up or down your neck, it must be done manually instead of automatic like the shiatsu/rolling features are. Not a big deal to me. Possibly the best feature that I appreciate is being able to use the Spot feature with the back massager. You can manually move it via remote to a certain area of the back, and the shiatsu rollers will focus on just that spot. I've been dealing with sciatica pain this past week, so this has been invaluable, coupled with the heat feature. Lastly, the air and vibration features are just phenomenal if you let it run on the Auto setting (a full massage). This pad pays for itself - if you've shelled out money for using one of those public massage chairs like I have before, this 15 minute massage (depending on what you set your massage features to, it will run for 15 mins) would have cost upwards of $10 per time. I have used this pad about 3 times a day since I received it, so if I do the math... I would have spent $210. This unit has paid for itself already. I hope to get many more uses out of it. UPDATE: We have had this 3 years now, and it still works great! I will pull it out of the closet, and it will get used by everyone for about a month or so. Then I’ll put it back away, and then a few months later, get it out again. Everyone gets excited each time, all over again! 😂 Earlier review: This has more functions than I even knew about! We have had this for about a week, and everyone in our family is using it or fighting over whose turn it is. Pros: The neck massager can move up or down to adjust to your height. It really rolls deep on each side of your neck. I can easily tilt my head either way just a little to chose a direct spot massage. The back massager can be set to upper back, lower back, both, or just spot in an area you choose. The back massager can either be shiatsu or just rolling. Air cushions adjust and squeeze to your size, and can be two on at once, just seat, or just sides, or none. The heat option, just amazing. The massager really gives a deep massage, it really feels great. The back of the massager is stiff and sturdy, and sits properly in our recliner, so it’s not just floppy like I was expecting. Being in the recliner, it has added an addition option! Cons: It turns off by itself after about 15-20 mins, then I have to reset it to the combination of modes I like best. There is no way to program your favorite mode. This chair is not made for short people. I’m 5’3”, lowest the neck massager and lower back massager reaches is too high on my neck and back. However, I fixed that by sitting on a folded pillow. My husband is 6’1”, and the neck massager fits him great. He has to use the folded pillow to really get to his lower back. You also have to be sure you really are scooted into seat to really reach the lower back massager deeply, with or without the pillow. Sometimes I would like just the neck massage only, but there is no option for that. The back massager must be on at all times, although with it being able to adjust, I usually just put it on rolling lower back to keep it at a minimal massage. Overall this massager is worth every penny!!! Our family loves it and I can deal with the few cons. We did the extended warranty. The quality seems really good, but you never know how long these kinds of things last. ... show more
