Arrived well packed, double packed. I have had multiple massagers, this one is very well made with a sturdy back. Most other massagers has flexi back, not this one. That alone helps to put this on any chair, couch and stays put. Massaging: With its awesome Shiatsu feature and cozy heat function, it really knows how to melt away tension in my neck and back. It has multiple adjustments combinations which really helps to either concentrate on one spot or roll over entire back. Heat and Air function is perfect. It takes a couple of cycles to feel the heat and relax. The only downside of this product is that it stops automatically. Having a timer would have been a great addition. Cons: It was not comfortable to do both neck and back at the same time, with either neck or back naturally moving out of the massaging position. but its great to do it separately.

The media could not be loaded. My husband really enjoys these COMFIER Neck Back Massager units. In fact, he works them morning noon and night, running back-to-back fifteen minute massages three times per day. Needless to say, the wear and tear on the units is excessive. Every two or three years, he needs a new replacement. Sometimes he makes the purchase, but they make an easy choice Christmas gift that I occasionally get the opportunity to help him keep up with the program. Before we start further review, here is the Amazon tag for the actual unit just purchased. I say this because finding this exact unit requires that you search for the exact tagging. Hey, lots of dealers have come to understand the value of this type product. So, don't confuse your products. Pay close attention to the item you are ordering. Here's the tagline. COMFIER Neck Back Massager with Heat, Shiatsu Massage Chair Pad with 2D/3D Kneading & Compression Chair Massager, Full Body Massager for Neck and Back,Shoulder,Thighs,Gifts for Mom,Dad Pros of the unit: 1) The quality of the massage easily matches that of higher priced full-size chair massagers - This assuming that you aren't going all out for a $2000 plus chair system. 2) Durability matches or exceeds other items on the market 3) Mobility is a major plus. When traveling by auto, my husband typically carries one of his many units along for the journey. 4) Cost effective. 5) Great features, easily selectable via the handheld control panel 6) Hits all the right spots from neck to rump. 7) Comprehensive features are designed to enable a fully customized massage session 8) Easily fits the common lounge chair. Cons: 1) Under extreme use, these units will eventually stop working in the upper back region. The rollers trip out and start slipping and popping. This happens on every massage unit my husband uses, from the high dollar chairs to any brand of portable massager. It doesn't make the units unusable, but it does eliminate the upper back options. Finding parts is extremely difficult, and not cost efficient. 2) However, since the problem is universal to the massage units my husband has used, we don't count this against the ratings. Just know that if you become an extreme user, keeping up with the program will increase your long-term expenses.

The media could not be loaded. Bear with me, this chair is costly but is TOTALY worth it. I’ll try to be brief but lots to cover here; 1) Settings - there are multiple different options for the back massager, from rolling function to a simultaneous shiatsu style and asp a back and forth style where they don’t act in unison but in back and forth orientation instead. There is also the option to isolate (called Spot) where on your back you want it to focus! 2) Additional features; the neck massager is SO nice. You can control the placement of it which is great since everybody is a different height but it also enables me to lower the mechanism and get a fantastic and deep shoulder massage with it as well! It has a heating function that works very well and has great coverage, it’s not just one spot that gets warm but the entire massager. 3) Appearance & Utility; I have it strapped to my office chair and it stays in place very well, it doesn’t shift or move and actually looks very nice as well. I was worried it would be an eyesore but the minimalist design is actually quite classy. It has a small pocket on the side, which might get overlooked, to hold the remote, which is great because otherwise it dangles and might get broken. 4) Air Bags- there are “Air Seat” and “Air Back” buttons that can be operated independently of each other, I showcase these in use during the video I attached. They inflate and deflate which applies a very comfortable pressure to your legs, back, underside of legs and glutes. It’s almost like getting a hug on your legs! This also includes a button to have 3 different intensities of squeeze, so if you’re a bigger person setting 1 is great but if you’re smaller you can still experience the squeeze by selecting one or the more “intense” settings! We now refer to my office room as the Spa Room and both myself and my lady absolutely love this chair. It isn’t the cheapest option but after using a different brand at a friends house, I will say that this chair back is definitely worth every penny! Literally the only negative thing I have to say about it is the built in 10 minute killswitch, meaning you have to readjust your settings once you turn it back on if you want more relaxation but in the scheme of things that’s really a minor inconvenience. Buy it, you won’t regret it!
