What I liked about this, is that it has both massaging for neck and back. My little one I had that broke, you picked one or the other. So when I saw this one and it could do both, and it had heat you could turn off and on, and it had vibration for your rear, I knew it was the one I wanted to try. Of course it cost a lot more than the little ones for one area, but if you are getting old and worn out like me after a day's work and would rather get the massage than changing and going to the club, this may be for you. When I clicked on it to read the description, I saw that there was another one with an additional compression feature. Now I have owned a massage chair that does what this massager does, and it included compression on arms, legs and feet and I loved it. But it was so big and took up so much space, I gave it to one of my kids. But, I also learned the benefits and comfort of compression that made me eager to spend even more for the compression features. When the massager was dropped off by Amazon, my grandson said What in the world did you buy now, Grammy?! It came in this huge box. I told him it was just a back massager. He hauled it in for me and opened the box to find another box. He opened that box to find a third box, which the massager was in. So you get a well packaged massager. Once it was out, I realized it was bigger than I had expected, and a lot heavier too. But there is nothing you have to put together, just plug it in. So my grandson laid it on the floor, plugged it in, and laid down on it while I went off and did some housework. 20 minutes later, he came up to me and asked what I paid for it. I told him and he said 'I would have paid a $1,000 for it' WOW Using the massager now, it feels just as good as my massage chair (minus my foot massage I miss). I can even put it on my bed and use it while watching TV. So, if you are already going to pay this much for a back massager, I urge you to spend the extra $30 and get the one with compression. I bought a heavy massage chair one time from Sam's, and it's not portable, so I was hoping I could have something that allowed me to turn any chair into something like that one, and this Comfier fits the bill! I'm very impressed, it does a whole lot plus more (like vibration on top, which is in itself the sole or main function of many other devices that don't have compression and shiatsu like this!). Really like the rolling pin option too, which gives us diverse ways to massage. The heat frature is quite decent, you just have to lift the flap up out of the way so you can get direct contact with it. Also, the remote control is very nice, intuitive and fits into a pocket when not in use (not sure, but the bottom of the remote does stick out a bit). Only negatives would be the following: The bottom pad feels great, though is a bit forward on a smaller chair bottom with no friction underneath to keep it there other than it being attached to the rest of the unit, and the neck area is a tad high for me (easily fits 5'7" and above though). The back massage has a slightly smaller range than preferred, but does the job. Other than that, amazing device! :) ... show more

This was not the exact massager I was looking for, but it looked close so I went for it. We love it. My wife, son and I all use it and it does a great job working out the kinks in the back as well as just relaxing you at the end of a long day. I'm not real sure about the pressure function as it doesn't do a lot for me. I might be too big for it to work properly. I have had a few of these massage chair pads before so I feel like this one meets my expectations except missing one option. The option to move the entire rooler area up or down to make it truley " adjustable. " The neck portion does move up or down but not the entire back mechanism... at least not that I discovered. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I have a terrible low back pain. I have been dealing with it for years. I bought many products like chairs, massage gun, heat compress with massage and nothing was as good as this massage chair. Upon arrival I was surprised how big and heavy it actually is. You can place on top of your couch or a chair. I placed mine of top of my office chair which comes with a low back massager but it does not help much with my low back pain. The massage feel great. It minimizes the pain immediately. I tried all the different settings and everything feels great. The neck massage , mid to low back massage, the air compression and heat. Everything feel so good. After 15 minutes I got a great relief that I recommend it to a friend. There is also a spot massage where you can use to target the area you have the most pain. I have been using it daily for a week 3 times a day. It feels so relaxing and comfortable. After 15 minutes I even forget my low back pain. Anyways, if you are looking for something that will minimize you pain, help you relaxe and provide a great relief, this is the product. Give it a try. You will love it. ... show more

I don’t use the vibration or heat so I cannot comment. I got this so I could recline on it as my shoulder one doesn’t. This give pretty good rolling massage to my upper back and lower shoulders depending on how you maneuver yourself. The lower back gives a very light massage as it doesn’t quite lay against your lower back. If it were curved in more it would hopefully provide a deeper massage. This is my second pad. The first one I wore out after two yrs. The fabric tore an was sewed back together. It does my back wonders. Use it everyday. It has all the features I need for my neck and loweer back.
