Working from home over the past year while also remodeling the exterior of our house created some pretty cold days inside. I bought this for an office chair application and it works great. The controls are simple. It comes with an adaptor for a wall plug, or a 12V car adapter (i.e. cigarette lighter plug) if you want to put it in your car (both plugs came with the unit). It took 30 seconds to strap it to the chair and get it plugged in. The seat back straps are elastic/velcro and gives plenty of room for different chair styles, and the seat straps have a plastic piece you can tuck in a crevice to hold it in place, or run it all the way around the seat and connect them together - whatever works. There's even a head rest strap for the car to keep it from sliding down. Super easy and functional.

It comes with an adapter for home use (which means it works in a car too). Nice warmth. I find the bottom bunching up in my office chair. If it had a strap or clip to keep the front tight, that would solve it. I may McGiver something...

Initially purchased for my driver's seat, worked great. Moved it over to my passenger seat, so had to flip it "inside out" to be able to get the controls in the center to reach the plug. Even with that, the seat is plenty warm. Love that there is a temperature control and a timer. Great for minor back pain, or just a cold tush.

I'm using it on my work-at-home office chair in my poorly heated office. It does a good job of keeping me warm on those cold winter days. Heat seems to be even on seat and back. The straps work well to hold it onto the chair. Automatically shuts off after an hour or so so I continually have to turn it back on.

I bought this because my old seat heater died last year. This is a far superior product. It heats up very quickly and I enjoy the fact that I have several setting to decide from. I think a bonus is the fact that it comes with an adapter so you can plug it in to use in your home, or outside your home around a campfire (must be close to an outlet)

Looks good with nice padding warms up fast. I haven’t taken a long trip but do not doubt that it will preform. Much cheaper option than rebuilding seat at an estimated cost of $880-$1000 (Mercedes).

In hindsight I wish I had purchased a chair heater w/ a massaging feature but still ok with not spending the money. Keeps me warms when gaming in the cold basement (mine, not my parents!)
