I've picked up quite a few comfier items over the last few years. They've always been decent. This style is a bit better than massage guns or massage pillows for an overall experience. The major con is the length of the cord and how much storage space it takes up. Otherwise, the controls are pretty cool and this is better than the ones I was looking at 2-3 years ago.

This was going to be a gift, but I wound up enjoying it so much, it's mine now! This is currently strapped to the chair in my home office. The cord is long enough to reach the nearest outlet, although you can't be in the middle of the room. Easy to understand control panel although it took me a few uses to determine how to turn off any massage feature and have just heat, which is a nice option if you've got that preference. Five massage choices with varying intensities. I have even folded down the top third of the massager to create more of a upper back/lumbar bolster to target those areas while providing nice support while sitting in my office chair. It is perfectly portable, take it to the living room sofa, favorite arm chair or even the car seat! Simple to store, folds up nicely and the controller has its own side pouch to keep it from swinging loose. A quality, yet economical choice if you're looking for a massage cushion. Ideal gift too!
