This replaces a countertop air fryer toaster oven that had computerized controls and was a complete PITA to use. We were so happy when it failed, which sent us back to hunt for a mechanical control version. We bought this particular machine because it has all manual controls, an on/off light switch that stays on until turned off and, BONUS, a rotisserie that has a basket, which we use to roast nuts and soy beans. Included are the usual pans, racks and air fryer basket, along with the rotisserie bar and its basket. The current huge Amazon discount also helped with our decision. We basically bought 2 for 1 when compared to a Cuisinart, which doesn't have the rotisserie basket and didn't last any longer than these imports. Our previous similar Cuisinart died after 2 years; given its cost we deemed it a delete. The controls are easy to read and straightforward. We also appreciate that it's not branded on the face with some weird, unintelligible name; it's not branded at all (thank you). The roasting basket works so well that we bought a second one of these as a back-up for the inevitable failure that looms in all of our futures...lol. We're vegan, so we'll never use the rotisserie for a chicken, but for all you conventional food lovers, the rotisserie really works. We only have a single nit and that is with the air fryer basket - it's too big to fit correctly into the drip pan, but it will drip into said pan when placed on a separate rack position. From our previous oven we have a slightly smaller air fryer basket that fits perfectly into the drip pan, but not everyone has all of these parts. We also find that toasting in any of these countertop ovens requires a different rack/pan, which is available in stainless here on Amazon - search for the "Joyfair 12.5 inch baking pan" with rack. It comes in different sizes to fit any countertop toaster/airfryer with a mesh rack instead of a straight wire rack. NB - read the manual for rack placement because it matters for correct cooking. We placed our morning millet crisp on the wrong rack and discovered that it wasn't toasted correctly - burnt on the edges and raw in the middle. We almost sent it back until we re-read the rack placement instructions. Aha! Toasting happens evenly on the middle rack placement as instructed. Duh-oh. ... show more

I bought my first air fryer (AF) before I realized how quickly the non-stick coating wears out. This fryer is a combo of stainless steel and enamal coated trays which are holding up well. I feel like it is easier to clean because of removable trays and offers different options of trays to use. Also, I can reheat using my own cook ware which is more convenient than my microwave because it cannot handle metal pots plus, it has a surprisingly large interior. It's more compact than my first AF so accommodates my limited counter space. Very happy! ... show more

What a piece of garbage this is. I have to box it up and return it the same day it arrived. I hope I can save you the headache! Many problems with this terrible oven; 1. The power light is always on and white in color. It is only supposed to come on when it is in use. There is no way to know that you have turned it off properly. The instructions also mention a red light but there is nothing but a steady white light. It does not turn off. 2. There is nothing in the manual that explains what the icons mean for the 7 functions. I am not going to try and memorize what they mean from the product listing picture - which is the only place it is shown. I assume 4 is toast but the others mean nothing that could ever be described as universal or intuitive. Major oversight and dumb business practice. 3. The manual states how to care for the rotisserie tools but there are no rotisserie tools in the box. 4. It takes over 3 minutes for the coils to begin to turn red, and are not glowing hot until the 5 minute mark. Every other toaster oven or toaster I have used in 60 years heats up and turns red almost immediately. The oven fails at even it's most basic function. I called Amazon provided product support as instructed from my orders page. They did not even have a manual and advised me to contact the company. Why provide product support when they can't help you and don't even have a manual? Seems like a non benefit. Despite my being leery about contacting a company on an item sold and shipped by Amazon, I decided to reach out to them on Facebook, which is the only contact method. When I sent the message I got auto replies from a bot telling me to provide an email address or I can't participate in their sweepstakes give-away. There was no getting past this bot. It would not take a message about an item I bought - it only would farm emails for a give-away. The last thing I want is another product from them. So I did a give-away of my own and packed it up for the UPS return. I should have realized by the absolutely weirdly worded reviews (all perfect 5 stars to boot) that are unlike any English speakers natural words that this was going to end badly. I am giving 5 stars, but I’m disappointed that I cannot use paper liners in it. The air oven on 350 for 10 mins cooked this bacon, discarded ⏯️1/2 cup of grease✔️ I already have an Air Oven so I think this toaster-air oven does really well. I wish there was a recipe booklet with it so everything is by trial & error. I would like 2 get rid of my microwave, but time will tell if it can perform the job ... show more
