    • This works good but with a few small troubles but mangeable.

This Oven heats up fast and glad to have on the top and bottom heating rods to help toast both sides. The Temp Control works good, I could see when I lower the temp the heading rods that start heating up will click off sooner but doesn't dim a little less if that is a thing or not. The timer ticks longer then the actual time but it's good I can force my hand to turn off the timer and temp knob before anything burns. The cleaning tray on the bottom when you slide it out is difficult. (Sliding Tray slides out tightly and slips in too tightly). The bottom tray when sliding it out you can't slide out what falls below like the pizza cheese or broken piece of toasted bread that falls below because it leaves no room for anything else to slide out with the tray, my guess it's only designed to slide out the grease. Only way I can get the stuff that falls down is to scrape what sticks below then I use a small vacuum cleaner to suck it out. Sometimes I try to lay down some Aluminum foil at the bottom and it's not easy to slip a small piece down, have to cut a large piece of aluminum foil and fold the sheet and cut it into two pieces then slide it down underneath then move one part of the sheet to the left and other to the right to fit and never easy to get the dirty sheet out. Aluminum foil is always amazing to use, Can place it on the bottom of flashlights if batteries are too small and can create an antenna with it and or wrap and cook anything with it and so on. But I don't think they ever designed a mini oven with easy reaching bottom cleaning and with easy reaching Aluminum foil to lay downs and remove, but!...anyways If i can't find ways to Improvise I would be in a world of make believe. Other thought!. Hope one day we design ovens with a metal roller and can restock Aluminum foil roller or holders having a new full foil usage roller onto it from behind or at the front near or welded on the open door below where we can re-lay down a new aluminum foil sheet before use. ... show more

I already have a bigger toaster oven, but I needed one that's smaller/compact and easier to use just for toasting or heating up bread, pastries, pizza slices, etc. This cute toaster oven fits the bill. I'd preferred it to be black/black or silver/black, but not available as options. So, I did the initial 15-minute heat up. Did ok, some electric smell, no smoke, but got so hot all around! The max temp got to only a little over 400 degrees, not 450. This is perfect for my intended use. I don't feel safe though, so I'm not going to leave it on unattended. I haven't tried, but it should be good for baking small sized portions. I have 4.5" square x 1.75" deep pans that are perfect for this. My 9x5x3 loaf pan fits, too tall though, hits the top heating parts. The pans should only be just 2" or less deep. I understand why the cord is short, but at least make it 36". This has only 26". ... show more

    • Very versatile toaster oven

I like the looks of this oven and that it has a lot of different cooking functions. It is easy to clean. What I don't like is the uneven cooking. I tried cooking dinner rolls and followed all the instructions using the bake setting but the bottom of the rolls burned before the tops were even cooked. The toast setting is also unreliable. I set it to medium and yet it burned the toast. Then I set it to light and it barely toasted it at all. We used the convection setting for a very small chicken but it seemed to take more than 90 minutes to cook. Since we have had this for about six months it is too late to return it but I would not buy it again. ... show more

The timer on this toaster oven bears little relation to the actual amount of elapsed time that the unit will remain on. After noticing twice that the toaster seemed to be having difficulty switching off when toasting items, I performed a timing test. Per instructions, I took the timer past the 10 minute mark and then back to roughly the 2 1/2 minute mark, then used a "stopwatch" timer to see how long it took for the unit to turn off. It took about 4 minutes, 50 seconds. Next, I took the timer past the 10 minute mark and then back to 10 and timed the results. The unit shut off in less than 7 1/2 minutes. It appears that the timer moves quickly at first but slows when it gets close to the zero mark. For those interested in a toaster over with a "stay on" feature, the unit delivered did not match the photo in the item's description. Instead of a 30 minute timer with various toast time indicators and a "stay on" feature, the unit delivered had a simple 60 minute timer. See photo. The tray included with the unit is almost impossible to clean. Once something leaves a stain, that stain is there to stay. I strongly recommend NOT purchasing this item. ... show more
