    • This works good but with a few small troubles but mangeable.

This Oven heats up fast and glad to have on the top and bottom heating rods to help toast both sides. The Temp Control works good, I could see when I lower the temp the heading rods that start heating up will click off sooner but doesn't dim a little less if that is a thing or not. The timer ticks longer then the actual time but it's good I can force my hand to turn off the timer and temp knob before anything burns. The cleaning tray on the bottom when you slide it out is difficult. (Sliding Tray slides out tightly and slips in too tightly). The bottom tray when sliding it out you can't slide out what falls below like the pizza cheese or broken piece of toasted bread that falls below because it leaves no room for anything else to slide out with the tray, my guess it's only designed to slide out the grease. Only way I can get the stuff that falls down is to scrape what sticks below then I use a small vacuum cleaner to suck it out. Sometimes I try to lay down some Aluminum foil at the bottom and it's not easy to slip a small piece down, have to cut a large piece of aluminum foil and fold the sheet and cut it into two pieces then slide it down underneath then move one part of the sheet to the left and other to the right to fit and never easy to get the dirty sheet out. Aluminum foil is always amazing to use, Can place it on the bottom of flashlights if batteries are too small and can create an antenna with it and or wrap and cook anything with it and so on. But I don't think they ever designed a mini oven with easy reaching bottom cleaning and with easy reaching Aluminum foil to lay downs and remove, but!...anyways If i can't find ways to Improvise I would be in a world of make believe. Other thought!. Hope one day we design ovens with a metal roller and can restock Aluminum foil roller or holders having a new full foil usage roller onto it from behind or at the front near or welded on the open door below where we can re-lay down a new aluminum foil sheet before use. ... show more

I read all the reviews carefully and decided to roll the dice on this little toaster oven. (I have limited counterspace so the small footprint was a factor.) So far, I’ve used it to bake frozen mozzarella sticks and egg rolls, and to reheat pizza. It performed as expected, but I did notice if the solid tray is too far forward (closer to the door), all the heat rises from the back of the oven resulting in uneven heating. The first time I baked eggrolls, the rear sides were super dark brown & the fronts were barely golden. So, the next time I baked egg rolls, I pushed the solid tray a little further back from the door so that heat from the bottom element could rise evenly around it (both front & back), and it made a huge difference in the unit’s ability to cook evenly. (Now I suspect this may have been part of the issue with some of the other reviewers who mentioned an issue with uneven heating.) I’ve also used it to bake mozzarella sticks a handful of times, and they came out great. I’ve reheated leftover pizza several times, and it was consistently perfect. I personally dislike microwaving pizza to reheat it because it makes the crust so soggy, so I’ve always done it in the oven. Usually from a cold conventional oven at 350°, it takes about 15 minutes to reheat pizza to my liking. With this little unit, it only took about 9 minutes at 350° from a cold oven to achieve the same effect. In fact, I would even say this toaster oven did a slightly better job because the crust didn’t dry out quite as much as it does in a conventional oven. Happy about that. This being my first time with a toaster oven, I did notice some things worth emphasizing… Because it’s so small and heats up much faster than a large conventional oven—and the heat is so confined in such a small space, I found all the items I used to bake or reheat in my regular oven cooked much much faster in this little toaster oven—without exception. I took nothing for granted and kept a close eye on everything the first several times I used it, making careful note that the cooking times were vastly shorter than my conventional oven. If I had set it for the same time as it used to take in my regular oven, there’s no doubt in my mind everything I made would’ve been burnt to a crisp. So, it’s worth the extra time to keep a close eye on everything the first several uses and make some tweaks in your tray and rack placement until you figure out what works. I also discovered that you can turn the wire rack upside down from its default position and insert it on the same level just above the solid tray (see photos)—and that made a perfect configuration for all my uses so far. Being a newbie to toaster ovens, I never expected the trays to automatically pop out when I opened the door, nor would I ever think about retrieving items from an oven (especially one that small) without using a heat-safe spatula, tongs, or an oven mitt. So personally I would not add those to my list of complaints like other reviewers have. *Note: Minus one star because it’s so tiny inside I’m not able to buy standard toaster oven muffin pans and such for it. I’ll have to take some careful measurements and keep an eye out for accessories that are small enough to fit, but it’s fine for what I’m using it for thus far. I haven’t tried broiling yet, but if I do—or if I experience a problem with the unit—I will come back and update this review. I like the looks of this oven and that it has a lot of different cooking functions. It is easy to clean. What I don't like is the uneven cooking. I tried cooking dinner rolls and followed all the instructions using the bake setting but the bottom of the rolls burned before the tops were even cooked. The toast setting is also unreliable. I set it to medium and yet it burned the toast. Then I set it to light and it barely toasted it at all. We used the convection setting for a very small chicken but it seemed to take more than 90 minutes to cook. Since we have had this for about six months it is too late to return it but I would not buy it again. ... show more

Controls are not accurate, making it easy to burn food. Oven is very hot, making it a fire hazard. Must be closely watched. Bought in April and used as a Xmas present at the end of the year. Very disappointed. A waste of money. The back legs are higher than the front legs. The tray is not non-stick.
