As a guest room mattress, it is really good. It is soft, but of a good firmness. We've had a couple of guests comment on how comfortable it was, so that was nice. The only problem we found with it was that it needs a good foundation. If your bedframe doesn't require a boxspring and the mattress lays on just a few bars across, you may have problems like we did. We are now looking for a new bedframe with more slats or more of an even surface. Other than that, I think this mattress will last a good while and will serve us well. The cooling top layer makes a reel difference, keeping me comfortable all night. I really like the pressure-relief for my hips and shoulders. The long trial period gives me confidence in this purchase; this 12-inch queen size has been better then I expected for comfort and quality.

Ordered: Queen Hybrid Mattress made by COMFBOX I am absolutely loving my new COMFBOX hybrid mattress as its cool and comfy! The description says medium-firm, and I'd say it's spot on, maybe even a little more on the medium side, which is perfect for me since my last foam mattress was so firm and non confirming. I've been falling asleep so much faster, and I swear it keeps me way cooler than my old foam only mattress. That's a huge win for me and my sleep! The support is just fantastic. As someone on the larger plus size, I was worried about it holding up, but it's been absolutely amazing. There's no feeling of sinking in or a lack of support, and I can't feel any of the coils at all—just pure comfort and the perfect level of support. Even sitting on the side of the bed feels super supportive and it springs right back up when I get off. Im using it on an adjustable bed and since it features pocket coils, this mattress is a great fit for my occasional heartburn and having to sleep with the bed tilted upward. Unboxing: 🤯 This thing inflated INSTANTLY. I literally unboxed it, cut the plastic with the included letter opener, and it puffed right up to full size. I've had other beds in a box that took hours, sometimes even a couple of days, to fully inflate, so this was mind-blowing. Also there was no smell that I noticed or gas off like I had with other mattresses out of a box. Also, it's definitely a heavy mattress—50% heavier than my last one—and you can tell it's incredibly well built. I'm so happy with ordering this mattress! 😊⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At the time of writing up this review, I have been sleeping on this mattress for the past two months and its been amazing (for me personally), highly recommend!     • A Good Night's Sleep
Since we spend about 1/3 of our life asleep (roughly 30 years), where we spend that time should be as comfortable as possible. I have a lot of orthopedic challenges from arthritic shoulders to spinal stenosis and herniated discs and my old mattress was keeping up but it was, well, old. Like 21 years old and I wanted to replace it but didn't have a lot of cash then this mattress came along. I've never bought a mattress by mail order so I wasn't sure what to expect but, so far, the manufacturer's claims are pretty much on the money. I'm a side-sleeper, left side primarily, and this mattress provided a lot of support for my spine but wasn't like sleeping on a rock. My shoulders also felt like there was a lot of support to help keep things aligned. So, far, we haven't had a hot day/warm night so I haven't been able to test the coolness factor but those days will be here shortly and I just got it yesterday. It arrived compressed into a roll and came with a cutter. I strongly recommend using it to cut the plastic off. Only cut the box at the end where the dashed lines are to avoid cutting the mattress itself. Make sure you're out of the way when it starts to expand because it does it quickly and almost violently. The packaging says to give it up to 72 hours to expand but I didn't have that time as I needed to get my old mattress out the door but I didn't experience anything that felt like it wasn't expanded. As to the price, I think it's a perfectly reasonable price for what you get. My last mattress (and box spring) cost $800 21 years ago and I haven't priced that type of mattress in a while, but I don't think you can beat the price on a mattress of this quality. As summer progresses and we get warmer (we average in the 90s and often get over 100) I'll be able to test how cool it is and will update this review. Overall, my body is ecstatic about the support and comfort and I'm very pleased with it. Here's to pain-free mornings ... show more

This mattress is very comfortable. Springy, good support. Could use more edge reinforcement but for the price, it's an excellent value! I am a short middle aged woman and I was able to set it up by myself. Easy to roll out and unpack.

I had no idea how uncomfortable I was until I started using this mattress. My old one was older than Taylor Swift (really!) It was heavier than Ms. Swift, too. I hadn't been able to move it for years. This new gem, however, weighs only 74 pounds. I can grip and move it as needed. My old fitted sheets fit without issue, comfortably adjusting to each corner. Medium firm should get 20 gajillion stars; I was finally able to sleep through the night. Long live COMFBOX! This mattress will be my sleeping pal for years to come. ... show more
