I put this in my closet which doesn’t have a light at all. When I got it I charged it up hung it up and it lit up the whole closet. Given I did hang it from the ceiling which is something I can only access on top toe the remote has been amazing. As far as size goes I would say it’s about the size of a salad plate so relatively small. I put it up over a month ago and I haven’t had to recharge it yet, so the battery life is great so far. The installation was simple. I am not great at installing anything but this could have been managed by a very tall toddler. Changing the settings and colors is easy as well. I keep it on cool light since it seems to brighten my closet the best but if you plan on changing it frequently you’d be able to without issue. The remote does have to be pointed at the light to adjust anything. At this point I have no complaints and find it to be the best light I have tried to solve my issue with the closet. Since portable, adhesive, rechargeable (or just plain battery operated) motion-sensored lights of all shapes and sizes are a dime-a-dozen these days, the very important selling point for us purchasing these lights was "Shower Lamp". One of our showers did not have overhead lighting, relying instead upon ambient lighting from the bathroom. Thanks to these lights it now has sufficiently bright overhead lighting, which makes a world of difference when showering. We use the remote control instead of the motion sensor to turn the lights on and off before and after a shower. The lights were easy to install with the adhesive/magnetic strip provided and have worked just fine since installment. We've had them up and working for about two months now without an issue. We appreciate how the lights are very flat and slim-lined and don't protrude from the ceiling. Aesthetically, they could pass for recessed lighting fixtures. The lights are lightweight but sturdily constructed and the sealed mechanism seems to protect them from steam, HOWEVER, the charging port does not have a rubber stopper on it so it remains to be seen if the exposed charging port (and therefore efficient operation/functionality of the light) will remain unaffected after repeated steam exposure. Such a detail might be considered for an updated version, just to put the buyer's mind at ease about potential damage from steam exposure. The price seems reasonable but I suspect there could be a greater variety of color options. The white lights worked for us. Hopefully, the lights will continue to work efficiently with continued use. So far, so good and at this point we would highly recommend these lights as a viable, affordable and efficient option for bright, remote-controlled/motion-sensored lighting. ... show more

Ordered this light for our shower after years of being frustrated with darkness in the corner walk-in. Dang what a pleasant change!! It’s easy to install with a magnetic plate or heavy duty two-sided tape (both included). I opted for the magnet so I can easily remove to recharge. The light is bright with three tone options - white, orange, blue - and it comes with a handy remote. It does hold a setting like motion detection, so there’s no need to use the remote unless desired. Think I’ll buy a few more of these for around my house and in my camper too. It’s a great light as far as ease of installation, brightness, color choices and of course the remote control. However, the battery life is frustratingly low especially because it then takes 5 hours or more to recharge. I only turn it on when I need it, it’s not on for more than 15-20 mins at a time. Also if you’re like me and you put it on the ceiling it feels as though I’m constantly having to climb up and pull it down and I am not steady like I used to be so that’s hard.
