The Westinghouse WGen20000TFc tri fuel portable generator with CO sensor produces up to 28,000 peak watts and 20,000 running watts and runs on gasoline, propane, or natural gas. The heavy-duty 999 cc 4-stroke OHV Westinghouse V-Twin engine has a cast-iron sleeve and runs for up to 13 hours at 25% load on a 17.2-gallon gas tank, keeping you powered all day or night with a built-in fuel gauge, automatic low-oil shutdown, and GFCI outlets. Push button electric start and a remote start key fob makes starting easy. At less than 5% THD, you can safely power electronics like computers, phones and TVs. Copper windings help the unit produce cleaner power, run cooler and last longer. There are two 14-50R 50A outlets and two L14-30R 30A outlets. All are transfer-switch and interlock kit ready so they can power major appliances like air conditioners, refrigerators, sump pumps, as well as lights and entertainment centers at once with a single cord hookup.     • It’s a huge BEAST! Plenty of power for entire house.

What a huge BEAST!! I been running 7550 watts Generac generator past few years, only issues I faced was not able run AC, Dryer what runs 220 volts. We able to cook on stove with only 2 burners. My Golly, this beast is something! Being heavy equipment mechanic, this thing not as loud as my 7550 Generac. I was able do ANYTHING in my home even 5 tons AC. The positive thing it contains breakers on each plugs., lots of plugs to run cords to my shop nearby. Moving it not bad with the solid wheels, weights 680 lbs. loaded with gas and oil. I added rack on top hold my cords and such. Starting this thing really different. Like a robot self start once button was pushed. I put synthetic oil in it instead using factory as I live in cold climate and stat any temperature. This thing runs GREAT!! I put it together was a breeze as I didn’t read the instructions, I just knew what I’m doing. I was lucky enough to own a cherry picker to get it off the pallet. I know some customers not prepare for that. Lol. I was, knew gonna be heavy. Love the frame around it. Xcel energy was so pissed I was prepared to have power when they don’t want me not having power. We people should always be prepared. I’m happy to have this BEAST!! 20k running watts is just more than I need. Those who curious, my house 3,300 square foot. ... show more

    • Great Generator & Much Less Expensive than More Advertised Brand

We ordered the WGen20000 4 months ago and, luckily, have not had to use it to power the house yet. It arrived on time without any issues even though it is a big, heavy item (600 lbs). With the help of a certified electrician, we were able to set it up ready for the next hurricane. It is loud, but it easy to start and should be able to deliver power to our entire house. The only reason I gave 4/5 stars is that the low power mode does not work. I will call the customer support number to see how to correct this issue.     • Westinghouse Generator Should Do The Job

The Westinghouse 20,000 watt generator was shipped promptly and received it in 3 days. Very easy to set up—add oil which was furnished, fill gasoline tank, set controls, charge the battery which was included, and start it up. Although weighing in excess of 600 pounds, with the attached handles and large wheels it was very easy to maneuver to the desired location. The handles are adjustable to two different heights for people tall or short. Starting was immediate after charging the battery. Using the remote control, I was able to start the generator from inside my home at about 60 feet with only one touch of the start button. It just as easily was shut down by the same remote. Have not wired it into my home electric circuit yet. I need an adapter to connect the 50amp outlet to my transfer switch. I am sure the 20,000 watt output will handle all the electric appliances and lights I will need on when a power outage occurs. Noise level from the twin cylinder 999cc gasoline engine is moderate. Since I have located the generator in my attached garage, the noise level of the engine won't be a problem. Upon start up, the digital gauge showed 241 volts being generated. The large 17 gallon gas tank is a plus for a long power outage which might last more than a day. Very pleased with the purchase. ... show more
