This jacket is very lightweight and unlined. Breathes ok. I have not yet tried it in the rain, so I’m not yet sure how water resistant it is. The fit is a little off. I ordered medium, which is my usual size, and it was a bit small in the waist. Luckily there are darts in the back that I could easily release and now it’s fine, except I don’t think I would wear a thick sweater underneath. The arms are extremely long. When I put my arms at my side, they hang past my fingertips. They do have Velcro on the cuffs, but still annoying. Overall, it’s fine. I had another Columbia rain jacket I used for years that was lined, and seemed to be a bit better constructed. That was probably a different model. ... show more

Bought this to replace an Eddie Bauer packable rain jacket that I had. It’s definitely comparable except the stitching doesn’t have any sealing over it. I like how the hood folds into the collar though. The sleeves are a little too long on me but the adjustable velcro straps on the sleeves help with that. I’m 5’4”, 145lbs, chest 41”, waist 35” for reference. Size chart is accurate and it’s still loose enough layering. I’ll have to update with how it handles out in the elements. ... show more

I love the color and the lightweight nature of this jacket! It has also done a very good job of keeping me warm and dry during all these crazy rain storms we’ve had lately. I walk the dog regularly with this jacket on and the hood is perfect to sinch if you need to suddenly pop it on.
