I’m very satisfied with this car stereo. The 6.36" touchscreen looks great and is highly responsive. I love being able to use Apple CarPlay wirelessly, as it makes using GPS, music, and calls much more convenient while driving. The backup camera is also an excellent addition, and installation was quite straightforward. The sound is clear, and the equalizer allows you to adjust the audio to your preference. For just $20 at the time of review, I was blown away for how good this Single DIN radio is. I've paid far more for far worse. While not the loudest car stereo, it has enough oomph to keep you entertained on your journey with its many media source options. Notably, the built in radio feature allows you to set your region, giving you the most range/resolution to receive as many bands as possible. The media player can play a variety of formats from USB including several video formats. Couple of caveats here - the video (and picture) playback is disabled if the pink handbrake wire is not connected to ground (handbrake on) - the audio portion of a video will still play, but you'll get the "Warning! Video Viewing Is Not Available While Driving" screen instead of the video. The second caveat is that the resolution is an unusual 1280x480 pixels, so video will have black bars at the sides by default. You can switch between various scale/fill modes, but there'll be some small compromise if your source video is not 8:3 ratio (good luck with that one!) Top marks for having a physical dial for volume/mute, although I would have loved a button for "back" also. I tested with Android Auto and after pairing, it connected flawlessly and began playing media on my phone and displaying an appropriate map. Not sure how they can make any money at this price, but it's worth double at least. The only real downside is that it runs a little warm, but does appear to have an internal fan to keep things under control when needed. Not uncommon for these kind of stereos. If you're looking for an upgrade on an older vehicle, this is a decent option. ... show more

Works well for something at this price point, but there are a few caveats. The instructions contradict the sticker on the unit itself when it comes to wiring. If you’re having trouble figuring out the reversing camera as I was, just look at the sticker on the back of the radio. Green to red! See photo Works fine with CarPlay - connects well. The sound is fine, and this thing has some configurable items - good luck trying to figure them all out - I couldn’t figure out the welcome screen customisation and gave up. The camera is okay, everything works as it should. The colored bag is a custom color that you choose, but I don’t really have a use for it. ... show more

I recently upgraded my car’s audio system with the Single Din Radio (Grape Purple), and it’s honestly been a fantastic experience from start to finish. Installation was straightforward, even for someone like me who isn't a pro at car electronics. The instructions were clear, and everything I needed was included, so I had it up and running in under an hour. Functionality-wise, this stereo does everything I wanted and more. It powers on fast, there’s absolutely no lag when switching between features, and connecting my phone via Bluetooth or Android Auto is almost instant. Calls are clear, music sounds great, and the 10-band EQ means you can really customize the sound to your liking. The external mic is a nice touch for hands-free calls, and people have actually commented that my voice sounds clearer now. The touchscreen is responsive and sharp, and the interface is easy to navigate. The grape purple color is unique and adds a little personality to my dashboard without being too much. One of the best surprises was the included 1080P backup camera. It’s a huge upgrade for my older car, with a clear picture and no noticeable lag. The added safety and convenience alone make this radio a great value. If you’re looking for a feature-packed, stylish single din stereo that’s easy to install and works flawlessly, I can’t recommend this one enough.
