  • Soft & comfortable
Size: Medium Color: Spring Blue
This is my third Columbia fleece jacket. All are 100% polyester They are very soft initial but over the years and through washings start to have a rougher feel. They remain warm. If you enlarge the pics I posted, you can see how smooth the newest one is (black label) compared to the others. I wear them as an outer layer indoors in the winter as we keep the temp a bit cool to save money. For outdoors, I often add just a windbreaker to keep the warmth in. I love the zippered pockets and the collar that can be flipped up for neck warmth. I don’t like the brand logo. The black label is my recent buy. They use this black one for all the jackets. Cheaper to use the same one. It’s probably better than the white label on the jacket I bought in Jan 2021. It’s gotten a bit dirty looking around the edges. My favorite is the oldest version that actually has the brand name embroidered. Very classy looking. Can’t remember when I got that first one. It’s still comfortable & warm and not threadbare. I won’t take off a star for the ugly label. I’ve read some complaints about it being boxy looking but I disagree. There are seams along the front and I like the look. The raglan sleeves provide a nice fit for various shoulder widths. Overall, great fleece jacket. ... show more

Really good sweater. It soft and durable, really comfortable! The zipper doesn’t snag when zipping and unzipping. It’s lightweight so it doesn’t feel restricting. The sleeve length is perfect for me and stops right at the wrist. I got my usual size and it fits great!

  • Quality, comfort
Size: Large Color: Black
I am 5'4' and about 150 lbs. I ordered the large and it is a great fit. I always find the most helpful reviews include weight and size. It is not oversized on me, it fits just right. It is a very nice jacket, and worth a couple extra dollars for the quality.

  • Nice for the Price
Size: 1X Color: Stone Green
I wouldn't say that this jacket is sufficient for cold winter days. For fall and spring it would fit the bill. It's true to size except the sleeves are a bit long (in my case). I like the zippered deep outer pockets. There are also inner pockets. The closure zipper itself is sturdy and easy to use. The garment is soft, attractive and well made. Not only do I like the jacket for transitional weather, but it also provides lightweight warmth when I feel a bit chilly indoors. Price varies by color selection so keep that in mind. ... show more

  • Nice
Size: Large Color: Cirrus Grey Heather
This is a really warm jacket. It is light colored and has some gray in it. The pockets are deep enough and zip up which is a plus. U can use the bottom to stretch it tight and no wind can get under the jacket. It is very lightweight and the zippers are of high quality. If u are looking for a great priced nice lightweight jacket this is the one you should choose. ... show more

  • Casual and Warm
Size: Medium Color: Cirrus Grey Heather
On a June trip to Iceland, this full-zip jacket was perfect for layering to keep out the damp chill. Sometimes, it was enough to wear just a shirt and this, and sometimes I had to wear a heavier jacket on top. No matter which, as the topmost layer or the middle one, it worked well. I love how soft and warm it is. The zippered side pockets are a huge plus since I can easily stash my phone in one. This fits true to size. I considered sizing up and am glad I didn't. It's roomy enough to wear over any top. -- Debbie Lee Wesselmann ... show more

  • Pretty & Practical
Size: X-Small Color: Stone Green
I wanted to do a review for others with what might be called a "wiry build" , since I didn't many reviews from someone similar to my body size. I'm 5'7', 115pds, 34x24x34, lean athletic build, bought Stone Green & Columbia Navy in an XS. The sizing on these jackets is very generous, to me it fits 1 to even 1.5 sizes too big, but the cut makes it fit nicely. It's not fitted anywhere, but is a nice relaxed shape that doesn't "balloon out" from the body, and the drawstring at the bottom hem allows you to cinch it in as much as you'd like. In my photo, the bottom is cinched in ~2", without this it flares noticeably outward & away from my lower body. The length of the jacket is perfect for me, hits slightly high but still hip level, and sleeves are long enough to reach past my wrist bone as I type this review. Nothing rides up or shows anything when I raise my hands above my head. The colors are really lovely, but they aren't what I would call vibrant or saturated- they look more or less as they do on the screen, there is a certain flatness. That being said, the Stone Green surprised me, it's a really gorgeous silvery sage green that I LOVE, not dead drab green as I was worried it might be. The Columbia Blue is as others have described, it's not a true navy, but more a medium slightly washed out denim blue with the slightest bit of green to it. Definitely not navy, but not teal either. The pictures listed for the color are most accurately represented in the photos of the plus size model, IMO. Being familiar with this brand, I knew this. BUT if you're looking for traditional navy, go with Dark Nocturnal instead. Fabric is medium thickness, somewhat stiff, no stretch, blocks wind well. There is some drape in these jackets but not much; it's very reminiscent of the polar fleece from the 80's & 90's- not built to look luxe like an Osito jacket, but will handle wear and tear beautifully (while standing away from your body a bit due to stiffness). It's warm, but I don't think it would hold up alone in much less than 40 degrees Fahrenheit, or if you were in extremely "wet cold" conditions. Overall, it is a wonderful option if you just need a reliable fleece that holds up well to wear, has some nice color options, & won't break your heart if it gets ruined doing outdoor activities or playing with kids, etc. Really can't find a better option at this price, so if you're on the fence, I would say buy it. Just size down!!! ... show more
