I splurged and bought these before a trip to Europe, with it being December-January I needed something comfortable and waterproof as I was going to be walking a lot and Europe knows how to let the weather rip. These are the best shoes I have ever purchased! Reliable, very cute, easy to put on and take off, and my feet stayed dry the entire time! I didn't break them in prior to my trip, but that was perfectly fine as they were comfortable immediately. Once I wore them more and they were broken in, I decided I will be investing in insoles as my feet did start to get a bit achey. I think that also had to do with the distance I was walking, though I would like to get more miles in these babies without feeling any pain. I really don't have any negatives to say about these, each time I put them on I was reminded why I love them so much and how I made such a good call in buying them. I have done nothing but rave about these shoes since purchasing!

Even after reading the raving reviews, I decided to order them in advance of an up coming hiking trip, to break them in. I have a wide foot so ordered a W in my usual size. They were delivered quickly and packaged well. I knew we would be hiking in the cold so I also ordered thick wool socks. They fit together perfectly. My first hike, I only did 2 miles and had no problems. No rubbing or tightness at all. I did several small hikes until my big hiking trip and they worked beautifully. On our actual hiking trip, I trekked through several feet of snow (for nearly 4 miles) and even through creek beds, and my feet never got wet or cold! Overall, I'm extremely happy with the boots and hope they last for years to come.

I bought a pair in 2019 and am now ordering a second pair. I’ve hiked about 500 miles (and walked even more) in these replacing the insoles 3 times. I do prefer a better insole than what comes with the shoe. I’ve done a 17 mile hike (in one day), climbed mountains, and have done lots of rainy weather hikes. These shoes are just now getting slippery due to tread wearing down. The stitching has held up beautifully and while not waterproof if I fully submerge my foot, I’ve done enough sloshing through wet areas to know that my feet will stay dry as long as I don’t get the tongue area soaked. Here’s hoping the manufacturer has keep the same standards these last few years. I used to be a total Keens fan, but once I noticed that the shoes were wearing out a lot quicker, made the switch. Very glad I did.

These are nice boots. Definitely keep my feet warm and dry. They are not huge and wide like some hiking boots. Very comfortable right out of the box which is important as my job has me walking around 17k steps per day on concrete, outdoors. My feet are VERY important and so are yours! You can feel good about this purchase and know your feet are not going to be mangled numbs after one use😂

I bought these shoes for my paramedic job. I also purchased a different pair of similar shoes that cost 4 times more. I can honestly say, forget wasting your money on overpriced stuff. Order these shoes immediately. They are very well priced (I don't want to say cheap, because only the price is cheap - the quality is amazing). They are comfy. They fit perfectly. The clean easily. They take about 2 seconds to break them in, no uncomfortable period of breaking them in. I am so glad I found these. The super expensive pair of shoes are already on their way back to that seller. You will really like these shoes, especially if you're on your feet a lot for work. It's a light work boot that you'll really enjoy putting on for those long shifts.

Have had these shoes for about 4 years now. Still sturdy! I have walked with it through puddles and water canyons and stays dry! Just don't walk through ankle deep waters lol. I I have normal arch type of footing and have walked miles in these shoes and these are the only shoes I have ever owned to not cause back strain or hip strain. The only thing I wish didn't happen so often is it getting untied. But that might just be user error and I'm not tying it correctly. haha

I love these boots SO much, I convinced 2 friends to grab a pair also. I’ve hiked parts of the AT and have tried many hiking boots, never found a pair that fit and compliment me as much as these. I wear them almost everyday for my dog walks. WATERPROOF IN POURING RAIN & WALKS ACROSS THE CREEK. My best friend and I both have a Lab puppy and we have tested our new boots in every situation, they did outstanding. I will buy these boots over and over and over. I’ll probably never go back to Merrell after these. Get them! They even look great with low it socks 🥾

These are comfy off the box, no need to break in and are a gorgeous brown! The toe box and the width is a bit narrow, my feet are regular but i would be more comfortable if i got a wide. I could work with this though so i’m not returning it, still comfy enough! The insoles are removable so you can easily change the insoles if you’d want more arch support. Great purchase! They look so durable and i’m sure these will last me years!
