I needed a last minute rain jacket to wear to a football game the next day. This promised to be delivered between 5 am - 8 am the next day and it definitely delivered. Normally I would never pay this much for a flimsy jacket. Not only did this jacket keep me dry, it also kept me warm and ended up being super cute. I’m currently in between sizes and would typically size up to a large, especially since it was going to be chilly enough to wear a sweatshirt underneath this. I was really worried that the medium was going to be too small but it was perfect and actually it was a little big. I love that you can cinch in the waist to give yourself a waistline and feminine figure. I also love the shape at the bottom on the sides and that this covers your rear. It wasn’t cheap but it’s a great quality and I got a lot of compliments on it.

I’m 5’11”, 215 lbs, B/C bust and the waist cinch + hip flaps were a few inches too high on me, making the jacket look awkward on me. The buttoning hip flaps are a good idea for increased mobility (especially for folks like me with larger hips & thighs); but I wonder how it performs in the rain because there’s just one button holding the flaps together (I feel like a zipper or maybe 3 smaller buttons would’ve been better). Overall it’s a nice, lightweight jacket for a good price. My favorite raincoat is the Northbounder by Columbia, and after 6 years of heavy use (I live in the Seattle area and walk my dogs 4-5x a day) it’s still alive and well, but I gained a lot of weight, so I needed to go up a size. Unfortunately they don’t make it anymore, but this one seemed the most similar. The material on this jacket could be a tad softer, but that’s just my personal preference, and aside from the length issues, it seems like a well made jacket that would last several years. I’d recommend this jacket for anyone >5’8” who isn’t going to be using the jacket in windy+rainy conditions (either or I think would be fine, but together you’d probably get rain coming in the hip flaps around the button)

Was looking to replace a Columbia jacket from 24 years ago. (Yes, my prior Columbia raincoat is that old.) The lining on the old one is shot but the jacket is still top notch! This new raincoat fits the same as the one from years ago. I love the color...not a solid but yet, a dark heather grey. My only concern is the drawstrings getting in the way when zipping.

This jacket fits well but is just water resistant not waterproof. Purchased this for Alaska trip and have gotten wet underneath on 3 occasionally with just light rain.
