To ensure the size you choose is just right, utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: for the sleeves, start at the center back of your neck and measure across the shoulder and down to the wrist. If you come up with a partial number, round up to the next even number. For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.

Columbia lightweight raincoat. Perfect in sizing. Very lightweight, good for summer months. It has wrist adjustments which are great to have. The hood has adjustments; my only complaint is the strings have nowhere to go when you adjust them. It is comfortable and rain proof so far.

    • Very Nice Rain Jacket with Good Protection
The jacket arrived in great condition and the size I had ordered (XL). While it is very lightweight, it is of good quality. I wore it recently during a moderately heavy rainstorm and 40 degree temperatures and am very pleased with how well it protected me not only from the rain (my clothes and I stayed totally dry), but also how well it protected from the wind. Also, with the jacket being an XL, I'm able to wear layers underneath, which kept me warm in the cool temperatures during the rainstorm, without the jacket feeling tight and constricting. The non-detachable hood comes down quite a ways over the forehead, so protects hair and glasses from getting wet, and has a drawstring to tighten the hood for further protection-- as does the bottom hem of the jacket. In addition, the jacket, itself, zips up all the way to the bottom of your chin, preventing rain and wind from coming in by your neck. There are also velcro strips that close over the zipper for added protection. The other plus with this jacket is that it's packable. The left front pocket is designed to be large enough to stuff the jacket into if you're traveling, and has a double zipper (ie, on both outside and inside of the pocket) so that once stuffed into the pocket, it can be zipped up to contain the rest of the jacket inside the pocket. And, while this is a little bulky, it's flat enough to easily fit into luggage or even a backpack without taking up a whole lot of room. I definitely recommend this rain jacket. ... show more

    • Nice color. Fits perfectly except for the sleeves, but they can be adjusted

It fits well. I like the fact that the sleeves can be adjusted so I can shorten them since they were too long for me. I actually tried it at a store that carries exactly the same brand, color and style. I decided to get it at Amazon because of the good discount. The only problem I found is that it didn’t bring instructions of how to turn it into a small bag to easily carry it around. I saw the video but it doesn’t show the details. Are we supposed to guess? Nice color and material seems to be good for rainy season. ... show more

I’ve had one of these before but somehow lost it. I’ve used other things to keep dry from the Florida rains, but nothing really worked that well. This was on sale for the spring sale, so I decided to go ahead and get another one! So glad I did, very water proof and the entire jacket is lined - even the sleeves. The body is lined with a mesh so it breathes and keeps that humidity from making you sweaty. The arms are lined with a different material but it works well also. the last one I had I bought in Large due to having longer arms and broader shoulder from swimming, and it fit ok but when I needed a sweatshirt I felt constricted (I can’t stand tight arms or underarms on my jackets). This time I decided to size up to an XL - I’m really happy with that as I can wear a sweatshirt and this still is comfortable. Im ok with it being looser on the torso too. Very waterproof, breathable, and light. I will probably buy another one in a different color to keep in my car. I love the white /cloud color that I bought this time - wasn’t sure I would but I do. I’m 5’3 and 160 lbs. I originally ordered a medium but exchanged it for a large. The medium did fit me, but was a little snug around the hip area. The large fits much better and is very comfortable. Just a little longer but that’s okay.

J love the material, the feel of it and how it looks on me. I ordered a size large which I always do, however I feel that the hood section is a bit small and does not allow full coverage. It makes me wonder if I should have sized up
