This was one of our better purchases. This is a lightweight jacket/windbreaker, perfect for rainy conditions. Great fit. I use it for light rain and heavy rains. I don’t get hot in it. It is not lined and that is perfect. I also purchased one for my 22 yr old and she loves it too. I use it hiking in Alaska & at home and out on charter fishings. Perfect jacket. Great quality. I purchased this jacket for travel because it is lightweight. It was perfect for use this summer and fall in unpredictable weather. I had a smaller size of the same jacket but I outgrew it, so I knew what I was getting. I like that I can either zip it closed if it's a really rainy day, or just velcro it closed in spots if it's misting and I don't want to be overheated. This is my second Columbia Arcadia rain jacket and it is awesome. I noticed the sleeves of my old one weren't coming clean in the wash, and then discovered it is 11 years old! I have worn that jacket so many times, and I decided it was time to get a new one. These are awesome raincoats. You can put them in the washing machine! The rain jacket works well to keep dry and has nice pockets. It is light enough for warm rain. Throw a fleece on underneath and it handles cooler weather too. It also works well as a windbreaker. I like that it has both a zipper and velcro to close. Also, this jacket is very compact and sturdy for packing. That makes it excellent for travel, and also to throw in your backpack or tote in case of rain. ... show more
