Let’s face it…I’m bald with a size 7 1/2 head (sans hair). I just got back from bucking around the Giant’s Causeway in Northern Ireland…a lot of wind and a lot of blowing rain. I found this hat at Bass Pro Shop for $32. I quickly looked on Amazon to compare prices and it was $8 cheaper. When my har arrived, it was just as pictured with the smaller COLUMBIA logo offset above the bill. Normally, I refuse to advertise clothing brands. I want people to recognize good clothing from the quality and craftsmanship, not a logo. However, I liked the lightweight feel of this cap in the store. When my hat arrived, it had the original Columbia tag attached with the price sticker of $32 so I knew it was authentic. I’m not a huge ball hat wearer because they make my head ache but this is lightweight and adjustable so I feel confident, I won’t get a tension headache from wearing it. ... show more

I needed a hat for UV protection that wasn't going to make me feel hotter. This was a great choice. I have lupus and have to keep my skin covered in spring/summer. This fits so nicely (and I have a larger head), is comfortable and I like the wicking ability. The fabric breathes. The velcro closure is really nice. My ponytails fits through, and I can adjust easily without it grabbing my curly hair. My only concern us the material potentially getting some snags, as it is that swimsuit feel (will update if necessary). I would like to buy a few more, so I wish Columbia would offer this in more, non-pastel colors! ... show more
