I used to use liquid but as I got older it started being too hard to get the straight line that I like. so I switched to the kind in the little pot that you brush on. used that for a long time, until I finally tried this. swipes right on in a straight pretty line just like when I was in my early 20's. doesn't irritate, doesnt smudge, stays on all day all night, and washes off cleanly and easily. took a few minutes off my makeup routine, which i can definitely appreciate. Haven't tried the pencil side yet and still curious how long this will last before it starts drying out. I'll update when I find out ... show more

I really love this eyeliner pen! The dual-ended design is super practical—one side is perfect for drawing a sharp wing, and the other is great for tightlining. Both ends go on smoothly, don’t smudge, and the color stays put all day. It gives me confidence knowing I won’t need to touch up. I actually had to wait for it because it was out of stock, but it was worth it. I even bought one for my friend and she loves it too. Just when I was about to give up on eyeliner forever, I found Tarte!! At 61 years old I have struggled for a long, long time to find an eyeliner that would stay put. I'm so impressed with Tartes' "Doubletake!" It goes on smoothly and does not end up underneath my eyes like so many others that claim to be long wearing or waterproof.
