It's a rain and stain resistant jacket that efficiently retains your body heat and is one of the warmest, softest, and lightest jackets we make. The Turbodown insulation works in concert with our breathable heat reflective interior, to create a lightweight performance jacket. Zippered side pockets keeps things secure and handy, while an internal security pocket keeps extra important items safe. The water resistant fabric, with a drawcord adjustable hem, as well as snug binding at the cuffs all work to keep you warm and protected during most anything Fall and Winter can dish out. This cold-weather coat comes in multiple colors and sizes. Available in extended sizing. Regular Fit. To ensure the correct sizing, please utilize our sizing chart and the following measurement instructions: For the chest, measure at the fullest part of the chest, under the armpits and over the shoulder blades, keeping the tape measure firm and level.

I like the coat well enough to keep it, but beware of the sleeve length. Will alter the sleeves myself or have it done because I like the coat. The large size coat came with 36” sleeves. It has to be a manufacture mistake.

Columbia Men's Voodoo Falls 590 Turbodown II Jacket (XLarge, Stone Green) I like the color which is a subdued green that to my eye is about halfway between sage and olive green with a little beige mixed in. This lightweight down jacket runs larger than I expected. Based on the product listing, I purchased the XLarge which indicated sizing for chests 46"-48" and I have a 46" chest. It turns out to be very roomy verging on sloppy in sizing and it fits larger than my other Columbia XLarge jacket. So, if you are near the smaller end of suggested sizing and intend to use alone in cool weather or as a mid-layer in cold weather, sizing is recommended. As it is, I can wear it as an outer layer over a heavy sweatshirt or wool sweater without feeling compressed. The collar has thinner insulation than the body of the jacket which is an odd choice and makes the collar a little floppy. If it is windy, consider a scarf or neck gaiter. The pockets are medium sized with cozy fleece lining. It has a nice inner chest pocket too. The jacket is constructed with smooth quilted nylon outer layer, down/polyester blended fill, and Columbia's unattached silvery polyester hung inner layer. This construction helps avoid cold spots although it isn't as weather resistant as shingled/baffled construction. Overall, it is well made, comfortable, and warmer than it looks. Order your regular size for use as an outer layer or size down for layering this jacket under another jacket. ... show more

This jacket is so comfortable! It's very light weight. But do not let that fool you. Because oh my god this jacket really holds in heat. Last week there was a really chilly morning and I put this on to go smoke. My friend who's house I'm at, sh askes me if I can get the stuff outta the back of her truck so that I could help her get this matress and bed up and outt he door to take to a mutual friend that's been needing one. Well I went from comfortable to sweating like crazy because I started moving around clearing the bed of a truck out. So the quality of this jacket and keeping you warm no matter whwere you're at is top tier! I like the thin puffer jack design a lot. In my pictures the jacket looks like a dark gray but it is a nice very black color with a shiny inner layer that looks similar to aluminum foil. So lightweight and comfortable and looks good on me. My only very slight complaint is that the wrist cuffs don’t hug my wrists and are a little wide. Haven’t needed to wash it yet so can’t speak to that. Quite pleased with it. ... show more
