Description

Constructed of cotton poplin that’s garment washed for lived-in comfort, it features hook and loop closed fly box pockets at the chest, a tool holder and utility loop, and a rod holder loop left chest that frees up your hands to work with lines and lures. Mesh-lined cape vents at the back shoulder keep you cool and comfortable; hook and loop at the collar tip lets you turn the collar up to keep the sun off your neck.

Real cotton...real comfortable...real cool even on hot days! This shirt is built the way they used to make shirts! Well made with built in vents for those hot days...mesh on the inside for wicking "NO POLYESTER or RECYCLED GARBAGE BAGS!!!" Has enough pockets to carry a lot of stuff.     • Great shirt for traveling!
I bought this shirt for travel days (especially for air travel), vacation days, and goof-off Saturdays. I particularly like the layout of the pockets on this shirt, as they allow for a range of uses--iPhone, iPod, boarding passes, pen/pencil, paper, etc. These pockets are very handy on air travel days, or when I'm out running errands. The velcro on several of the pockets keep valuable gadgets from tumbling out when I bend over! The fabric is very comfortable without looking droopy and pathetic like some cheaper "fishing shirts" do. The fabric breathes well, and the vented back helps keep the wearer cool. I will admit, however, that the fabric is not wrinkle-free. I never iron mine, but if you're concerned about looking neat, you'll want to touch it up with an iron before wearing. I like the shirt so much, I bought two others in other colors. I would have given it five stars if the fabric were a little more wrinkle resistant (like some tactical shirts I've purchased elsewhere.) ... show more

    • Probably the most comfortable shirt I own.
As a bigger guy, it's sometimes hard to find shirts that are comfortable. Shoulders are often too small, or the chest is too narrow. Columbia just seems to get it. I have probably a dozen Columbia shirts, but 4 of them are this model, just in a few colors. Everything about it just works. Pockets are deep, cut is generous, breathes well, wicks pretty good. About the only thing I see over time is the Velcro wears down a bit and as the collar softens from washing, it sometimes doesn't sit perfectly. As long as they keep making this shirt, I'll keep buying them. I wear them nearly all year here in Florida for going out, going shopping, working in the yard, working around the house, etc. Highest recommendation on this one. ... show more

I love these shirts. Perfect for wearing at the beach, lake, pool, anywhere really. You can wear them very casually or wear them out to a restaurant. They're perfect for trying to stay a little bit cool while also looking somewhat presentable. One thing to note: these run large, so buy one size down from what you normally wear. ... show more

This is a great Columbia product! Only knock is if it's made in Vietnam it needs to be ironed. I have a couple of Columbia shirts made in India and they require no iron. Otherwise, and awesome product.
