This is warmer than my Carhart for work. Warmer than my North Face for serious outdoor activities. Would I wear it for work? No. Would I wear it for serious outdoor activities? No. But for wearing out running around town, walks and other times when I would like not to freeze to death, this jacket is perfect. It’s almost too warm. Just have to remember when you start to sweat to unzip or take off. Get a little chilly, put it on or zip it up. You need to self regulate with this jacket. With the Omni heat lining the heat is almost immediate. It’s like wearing a sleeping bag. The hood is great at keeping out the wind. Size is correct because you want a little room for a heavy sweater or a mid layer if needed. You could wear this with a tshirt and you’ll be fine for getting the mail, walking the dog and so on. Definitely worth the price especially at half off which I just got it for. I would buy it again at full price it’s so good. ... show more

This product was made for bigger guys. Why?? I normally have a very snug fit for XL, I am over 6 feet and weigh 200 lbs, very normal for a fully grown man. But this makes me look like a snowman. Disappointed Columbia.

My son is 6’5” 175lbs. The medium fits just right with room for a hoodie underneath. I like that it has a drawstring at the bottom so he can cinch it giving it a more cropped look.
