First off props to COLORTONE for having 4x+ sizes! OVERALL: Great shirts, great colors, fat man sizes Colortone has two different design sets of tie die shirts. I own EVERY one thats available in 5X. I dont need 5X (yet) but I like a loose fit so buy big. Doesnt everything shrink a lot these days? So in all I have about 24 of these shirts. FIT: As expected for over sized purchase. Sleeve length, collar fit are all good. NOTE: wife says the collar is too small/tight so she cut hers to make a V-neck style and wears them as house/garden shirts now. VERY IMPORTANT! :: HAND WASH these shirts a few times! 90% of the shirts I own are very heavy in dye. THEY WILL COLOR ANY CLOTHES YOU WASH THEM WITH. I soak them for a bit in warm water then hand "wash"/rinse. I do this 3 times for each new shirt. This gets most of the unset dye out. Thankfully the color is not reduced in any I have used. Some of the darker colors (red, blue, purple oh even the heavy orange) need many many wash/rinses before I would dare throwing them into a normal load. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED! :D ... show more

There was some white stitching on the shirt that seems like it was added after the shirt was dyed. I wouldn’t have a problem with that, but the stitching looked horrible. First, there were two different types of stitching and that looked weird. This was made worse by the fact that the two types of stitching ran into each other. Secondly, there’s areas where the stitching isn’t complete, another area where the extra stitching went off track of the original stitching it was following and you can see that, and there’s areas where the stitching ends prematurely and isn’t even trimmed. I’m all for supporting small business, but not if I feel like I’m not getting what I paid for. I can get a shirt for $4 at target, but chose to spend $10 to support this company. I’m now regretting this. I need this shirt for a spirit day at my daughters school, but I won’t let her wear something that looks like this. I’m extremely disappointed, especially because I’ve gotten other shirts from here that didn’t look like this. Now I have to go out of my way to return this and find another shirt. If your shirts are such poor quality that you have to reinforce the stitching, maybe start with better quality rather than expecting your customers to forego that. ... show more

    • STITCHING DOESN'T MATCH ON SHOULDERS & NECK. RIGHT WHERE YOU CAN'T HELP BUT SEE IT.

I loved the beautiful neon colors. but hated the cheap way it was sewn together. It looks very very cheap. but worst of all is the stiffness. I wish I had listened to the reviews. I always try to read reviews but do take them with a grain of truth because sometimes . they can say things just to be mean or just too nit-picky or whatever. but when there are a lot saying the same things, you should listen . and this time I didn't. I bought two of them green and pink. and they are both just as bad, they feel like sandpaper and as many reviews said, you can't wash them enough to make them soft it just doesn't help even with all the downy. I truly hope the seller will do us all a favor including himself and purchase some really nice white t-shirts and dye them with the proper dye that won't make them scratchy or run when washed and charge a couple of bucks more. then he can make money and we will buy twice as many because his design is awesome. I would love to have one of each color. it's got to be tough when you're trying to make a living and then to hear all the negative feedback. that has to hurt. so please Mr. /ms seller help us all out here. we're rooting for you. This tie dye shirt is awesome! Usually I make my own tie dye shirts but non of mine turn out anything near this exceptional design and color. I guess I just haven't "mastered the technigue" yet. Now that I have found such an awesome vendor or so many different color and styles of tie dye t shirts, I don't even think I have to continue making my own! This t shirt fits as it should, not too big like some of the generic plain t shirts I buy to make tie dyes shirts with. I was a little skeptical to buy tie dye shirts online because of the fit and if the colors would wash out or not. But I am super pleased with my purchase and will definitely be returning to purchase more. ... show more

    • Beautiful colors, but poor fabric and sizing.

Colors are vibrant and the tie dye is excellent. However the quality of the material of the shirt itself is not very good. Also the sizing is not correct for an adult male. The neck is way too small. I asked the seller if they had changed their wholesaler. I was told they have not. I will not be ordering any more shirts from this seller due to the quality of the material. ... show more

    • Color bleeds and stains everything
Do not buy this! I got the red ombré shirt and ran it in a rinse load in cold and it bled like crazy. So I started hand rinsing it in the sink and must have rinsed it at Least ten times before it started to get lighter. Left it in the sink overnight. In the morning my sink had a big red stain on it that won’t come out of the plastic. And I started rinsing again and it’s dark red water coming out of it again. I can’t imagine this will ever be safe to wash. And I don’t want to even hang it to dry anywhere because it’ll stain the grout in a tub or shower.
